I could make a huge list, but a somewhat recent series/game that had a good soundtrack was Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 2.

My personal opinion is Final Fantasy IX. And it is correct.

Well, I guess my work here is done.
My other notables: Final Fantasy IX, Ys: Oath in Felghana, Final Fantasy X, Persona 3/4/5, Lost Odyssey, and the boss music from Blue Dragon.

Everyone forgets how good both of these games were but Both of the Obsidian Southpark games had fantastic music. Credit to Parker and Stone I'm sure, as well as their wealth of already done songs from the show, but goddamn if it wasn't orchestrated beautifully.

My favorites are mostly from the Elder Scrolls. Morrowind and Oblivion are great. I also enjoy some of the Halo songs like the main theme and "One Final Effort." Mass Effect has some great music as well including "Suicide Mission" and "Leaving Earth."

Bloodborne has the best soundtrack in a game, imo. From the main menu on is nothing but masterpieces.

For me its many of the FF and Elder Scrolls series. FF VIII is at the top of my list. I really want to attend a Distant Worlds concert.

It's Halo for me and it's not close.
The Gregorian chant gives me chills every time I hear it and when the orchestra hits I'm ready to shoot everything in sight.
Also, in H2 when "Blow Me Away" comes in while you're wrecking shite on High Charity
