A litte FYI for those trying to decide b/t NCAA and Madden...
If you buy NCAA 10 from Gamestop right now, they give you a coupon that guarantees you $40 trade-in value if you want to trade in NCAA for Madden when it comes out. Pretty good deal IMO

I started a dynasty with the updated roster file that's available, and I'm using Western Kentucky. I like a good challenge, and I usually hold off on playing with the bigger schools until I'm offered a job. Anyway, I don't alter the schedule much, unless I'm playing an FCS team, so the only team I added was Memphis.
I went ahead and tried it out on Heisman and got my arse handed to me by Tennessee and South Florida, and I lost a game to Memphis that was sort of the like the LSU/Georgia game last year. Turnovers leading to points made the game seemingly out of reach, and if you eliminate them, I either win or keep the score more respectable.
I played Navy this morning, and if you're into the option attack, the improvements in running the triple option out of the flexbone formation are above and beyond great. I managed to beat Navy 35-23, only surrendering 10 points on defense (special teams gave up 7, offense had a pick 6).
Overall, the gameplay has gotten more realistic. The QB actually being able to get a pass off, albeit a wounded duck, while under pressure is a nice, realistic addition. The spin moves are more realistic and not so much of an arcade-style animation. You really have to be flawless in strategy and understand the physics of the game if you play on Heisman. The receivers still hit the rocket booster at the last possible second when going after a pass, but not nearly as much as in '09. If you zip one in there, be prepared for incompletions. Unless you've got a guy whose hands are amazing, you can't throw rockets all days and expect them to be complete. I tried doing it a lot with some swing passes to my RBs either just behind the line of scrimmage or a few yards upfield in the flats, and they couldn't hold onto them.
One thing that impressed me was the graphics. There are actually streaks and scratches on the helmets this year, or at least when you play in the rain you can notice them, and they didn't overdo the muddiness of the uniforms like Madden did last year. It's going to take some time for me to get accustomed to the gameplay, but I think it has potential to be a solid title in the end. I give it a B.

My main problem is Facemask penalties... Ridiculous
that pasrt of the gameplan thing, one of the things is more penalties so if your sick of facemasks, use the conservative gameplan but sacrafice the possiblity of more big plays

Yeah, I noticed I was getting a ridiculous amount of facemasks and clipping penalties, so I turned those two to conservative and left everything else at aggressive. Problem solved.
