There is more to this story ; besides obviously LSU being the best job; maybe lane was tried of the hotly totty b.s. fans etc he was dealing with. They are insufferable!

Funny because the last two or three weeks it has been just the opposite from SEC schools posting about Lane ! Hypocrisy at its finest. How dare LSU fans make posts on an LSU forum about their coach! The audacity!

Great win against Texas but neutral site Texas wins that game, they are bigger and stronger. Williams better remain healthy.

There is no question when it comes to football history and tradition, LSU is without a doubt a better place to be; everyone knows it including the landsharks which is why Lane was willing to give up a possible national championship to come to LSU. That has got to sting Omiss fans and faculty in a way that is unprecedented in all sports. How insulting and embarrassing for ole miss fans. This was your only chance since 1962. How it must suck to be a Mississippi state fan; I mean Omiss fan.
