It sure seems like it has taken them a 100 years.
I really hate that it is PS3 only.
I remember being shocked at GT3, the sun in the eyes effect really seemed to make my eyes water.
I can't imagine how awesome the PS3 version will be.

These racing games are all too repetitive. Driving in circles, earning cash or credits, and buying/upgrading your car. After a few hours the graphics and soundtack get old, and the new game feels like a reskinned version of all the older ones. Hopefully this one is different.

I've never played a GT game. They're including NASCAR with GT5. Should be outstanding.

The problem I have with most racing games is that they're usually so damn technical and the vehicles are so damn difficult to maneuver. How does this stack up?

What games have you been playing? GT series is by far the most realistic of any driving series.
It's very technical, I'll admit. You can't jsut go out and race around arcade style, like many games now. It takes a little bit of getting used to. It actually takes a bit of driving physics, but its not overly hard. Some license tests are brutal, though.
That's why I suggest getting 4 and learning on that until it comes out towards the end of the year.

I'm glad they are taking their time with this game. Should be amazing.
