Hahaha I figured if I didn't. Someone else would.

I liked H3 but IMO it was no where near H2. Mostly because of the maps in H2 were so money

I was a 36 in Halo 2. Modders and getting standby'd killed my hopes of getting any higher level. Halo 3 was much easier, and I had multiple 50's on multiple accounts.

In the early days of H2 it was very hard to level up but you had very little cheating. As time progressed they made it slightly easier to rank up but cheating was out of control.

Modders

We always tried super jumping out of the levels where you could, then hiding for the whole game. Just sit there and make them wait, or quit. Because of the nature of modding they couldn't control the character enough to repeat the process. It wasted our time, but at least there was a chance of getting the win.

We used camp on H3 in a similar fashion just for the fun of it. People get really pissed if you just hide the whole game with the shotgun/sword so they cant get close, but cant take a shot from a distance.

How could you do this, when those frickers would jump as if there were super bouncing, with a fully automatic BR and auto aim.

I guess I just never got that lucky.

I was good, not great. I was a peak ~43 in team slayer, but I also never played with a team. I got to 45 pretty easily in lonewolves.

I hated when people did that!

Sometimes we would let the other team get a 10 or 15 kill lead in team doubles and see if we could come back. Being down 15 and not having any guns it was so fun to try to come back. normally we did. But if people left the match we would lose when normally they never have had a lead on us

In halo 2 or 3? There's a huge difference.

It was only to modders, mostly. Oh and guys who we could hear through the mike talking shite or just being angry in general.

We also did the wait and come back thing. It was really fun to do that around level 30 on H3. Guys think they are good because they are the best out of all their friends at that level. I had way to much fun fricking with people.

This, peak 43 in H3 is a step above average, but 43 in H2 was god status.

I guess I'm a step above average then

Halo 3 Stats

The kd is weighed down a little bit because we started to just frick around at the end. I was probably more of a 1.2 to 1.25 type. Like I said, good not great or a step above average.

It was glorious listening to campers discussing their camping strategy, due to proximity voice. Especially after you killed them, when they immediately start screaming and complaining.

One of my favorite games was finding moving campers, guys who just snuck around the whole time, and following them. Assassinating a guy, out of the blue, who thought he was sneaky would lead to some hilarious phrasing.

Anyone else remember the jerksnipe in H2? The glitch because of autolock? Wonder if they are leaving that intact.

Sorry, might have been a little harsh there. Average was probably around a 32 actually. So you were well above average!

I posted the 2 accounts I can actually remember the names of on page 19. If you are curious at all. I had like 20 accounts total, only kept one permanently though and that was the first one.

It's all good bud, I didn't take it like that . I try to be a team player in video games. If I have to kill whore, I will but I also don't mind other various roles. I'm just excited to play this when it comes out, and have an insanely high win/loss record

I got up to 40 on H2. Took like an hour to find games at that level with trying to get host boxes and people listening to their boxes for maps.

Good times.
