Is Madden that much better than NCAA?
had a friend brag about it after playing one ranked game.. he called me about 2 hours later and said it was horrible and he wasn't buying it. he said the nano blitzing is unreal

NCAA is fricking spectacular this year.
its not as easy as past versions. Passing is way tougher.
You really have to use the Left stick to guide your receiver when throwing the ball, and pay attention to the exact moment a WR makes a cut.
The increased challenge of the passing game and improved tackling system makes the game really good.
i havent played or read any reviews on madden, so a comparison from me at this point would be premature, but a lot of us have been very satisfied with NCAA '12

nice..I went w/ NCAA b/c I like college Dynasty mode more than Franchise mode.
It's more fun to recruit and develop than just pay money for FAs.
Have you tried the coach mode? that seems interesting..where you start off as like a WR coach or coordinator or some shite.
is that legit?

i agree on the recruitin vs the Franchise.
i havent gone the OC or DC route yet. I always go head coach. I hate not having full control of my team.
"coaching contracts" (fired if you suck, offered by better school if you are good) appeal to a lot of people , just not me. it seems legit from everyone else who has played through.
Start as OC for San Jose, do well, become head coach at Wyoming, do well, become OC at Nevada.. on and on. The offensive and defensive coordinator contracts have specific milestones to hit (2000 yards passing in a season, for instance)
i know youre a fan of football; you won't be dissapointed. It may be frustrating at first cause LBs and DBs intercept everything, but... the challenge is what keeps all of us coming back.

starting out as an OC or DC is pretty cool but then when u get hired somewhere else u lose all the players u recruited to the other school... so i find myself playing my head coach dynasty more. i like starting off with an average team so i can truly see the effects of my recruiting rather than playing with highly rated school that starts off with a ton of backups that become high 80s players.
i started with UCLA almost their entire roster is 70s or lower so freshman can come n and play right away if they are good enough
eta: sorry for the wall of text.
i'd recommend making a custom playbook and tweaking it as u go, taking out plays u can't seem to get to work

yeah, thats the way to go.
i never change jobs either. I have like 10 different offline dynasties in different years cause i like to develop my recruits and see how they pan out.
i just start as a HC in a offline dynasty and see how many seasons it takes before i lose interest.

NCAA 11 and 12 are better than Madden 11 and 12.
Madden 09 n 10 were pretty awesome and NCAA has expanded upon the things it introduced while madden has just continuously fricked things up
