Oh I'm fricked!
I just now saw my OC Chris Petersen is level 0.
I thought my DC was a downgrade, this is not good. This has to be the same Chris Peterson who coached Boise St. He should have points. Must be a glitch. Lol

Picked up 2 commits. A decent tackle and a meh guard. none of the studs I was hoping for. Looking forward to the year when I can step up from 2 instant commits.

Well good grief... Clemson came out in the Flexbone. Good news, held them to only 44 rushing yards... Bad news, they threw for 584 OUT OF THE FLEXBONE... Of course they would go 5 wide too... And of course it would all be no huddle too...
Nebraska wins 77-37... Could have been a different story, held them to 3 FGs, I had 2 KORs for TDs and another set up a score, I also had 4 INTs with 3 by one guy...

Northwestern takes down Stanford in Palo Alto 45-26.
Threw for 156, ran for 296
Held Stanford to 68 yards rushing on 28 attempts.
Forced two turnovers and sacked the QB 3 times.
I think I did pretty well for my first game with a RB at QB. I only ran read option three times I think. Most of the rushing yards from the QB were on scrambles in the first half because my OL was awful. In the second half I was bulldozing Stanford's DL into submission.
ETA: forgot to mention that I had 14 tackles for loss

Done sc ored on every drive except one I threw a pick from the 2 being dumb. Had them held to 3 points until the lst drive and Had them 4th and 7 the run a screen and he broke 7 tackles 2 tackles where 2 guys hit him at once and got the first then they scored on 3rd dwn when he threw it in between 3 guys lol

Today is my last day of moving. Already moved the PS3 over, but I don't think I'll be able to hook it up and play until tomorrow.

Beat Mich last night. My OL and secondary are dreadful. Bunch of starters in the 70's. Should be much better next season.
I will be out of town starting today until next Tuesday. I'll put myself on auto and keep up with recruiting on phone. I have a bye week 2, but play PC week three.
PC - I don't want to hold up league, so if we advance to week 3 just go ahead and play it.

I'm going to get my game in today at some point. Recruiting may be tough for me this year. I am really going to have to grind to find some sleepers

I actually like my team and really like my future. Lots of young guys playing, and I have some speed at WR, at RB, and I'm running a 2 qb system that worked very well the first game.

Just beat #23 Texas 21-3.
The new offense wasn't clicking. I tried to run the option and a few were successful, but the results weren't overwhelming.
It could have some to do with this new OC (which I don't think he is earning points) Either way I'm going to go back to the old playbook and just get more creative with the play calling.
My defense was the saving grace. They allowed only 93 yards passing and 38 yards rushing. My defense was swarming and some of it could be from poor play calling by Texas. Had Texas been able to move and score, I would've lost this game.
