no doubt, especially since it was 21-0 and they had the ball. This sounds gay, but I'm actually pretty excited my team fought back and I never would have thought my 64 overall QB could make it rain like he did.

That's something to build on LSUButt.. I had a tough time with Kentucky in the first half.. I had to crowd the line to stop their running attack and gang tackle... My poor LB's were dropping like flies from injuries but they came right back. Second half I pretty much just kept the ball away from UK's offense and controlled the clock. I stayed away from man to man and played zone and I never came close to sacking the QB. I played mistake free football and didnt turn the ball over which is rare for me.. lol... I think the CPU settings are good and this season is gonna be pretty exciting... Great job DG

Yea, I played man a few times and just got railed. And I'm using the Air Raid offense cuz that's what I signed up for and I'm not gonna lie, I pretty much wish I wouldn't have done that cuz I have zero running game and my running back is my best player outside of a really solid receiver. I'm eager to get back at it, though.

Hey DG, Is this League full?

It kinda is because I dont really want to add more then 8 and mess up the dynamic of the league. If we get through a few weeks or a season and someone is struggling to play there games you will be the first to know.

Yeah if anything EA has done a good job of making the computer competitive against these C+ teams, which adds an exciting dynamic to the game. I play as Syracuse in my other dynasty and in year 2, I have 5 losses with 2 of them being by the computer.

Yeah I would suggest going to practice mode and learning the Passing Tree for 7-12 core plays and practice making your reads over and over, fastest way to improve your passing attack IMO. If I was trying to dominate this league I would have played with this Pistol set either, the downfield running isn't near as effective as it should be because the blocking system is broken for the read option (which is the main benefit of running the offense). But I have practiced a lot trying to figure out what works and am slowly getting more comfortable with it. My biggest worry is once user games start if the user shuts me down a few times it's gonna really take me out of my normal comfort zone.

How is everyone else's offense's developing? I can't remember who took the option playbook but how is that coming along?

Yea, I did alright against the FCS team, but running was literally impossible with my line against UF's so I just didn't even try. I ran a few screens and some swing passes to try and get him the ball but he still got run down pretty easily. He had about 10 touches overall for like 60 yards or so.

I have the option playbook and it is a work in progress. The different formations help keep the defense off balance. I enjoy the option offense because I like making the QB reads. I made some audible reads off the defense and that opened up the option for me against Kentucky. It also opened up the passing game for me as well.

You literally took the words out of my mouth. I play in another league and I just joined in the 2nd year as Missouri. Well their offensive playbook is even more wide open then the Air Raid. So I practiced for literally about 4 hours the other day and had set plays, mixing up my receivers to utlize them, etc. 1st play of the game I got picked off...next offensive possession 2 sacks and an incompletion, talk about being thrown off a gameplan (he was South Carolina who is FAR better than my Missouri team so it was just a demolition from the get go...he was getting 6 yards running up the middle with Lattimore even if I had 8 in the box).

I've practiced a few times with Richmond and thought I had it ok, but damn Florida brought things to a whole nother level.

Im pretty much hitting my stride against the computer. I had a pretty good game against Fresno State and barely one cause I cant stop anyone. Against FCS first play from scrimmage my RB took it 88 yards up the middle and the rout was on. I had around 800 yards of offense and I put the 2's in at halftime. Looking forward to the user games.

I've got one 4-star I'll probably get and then eveyone else is a crapshoot. Could be a long few seasons for the Spiders.

Well I guess Richmond (Rich what? RICHMOND), will have to start busting out the Jesus Shuttlesworth type recuitment. Gang bangs and dugs for every player...that's the kind of pogram I want!

Down 21-0 in the 4th quarter to LSU. Make a huge come back down 21-14 with the ball and a minute to go..and I fumble inside their 20.

Out gained them 350-250 in yardage.

Yeah I looked at your stats and scoring line. Almost got a big win for the conference, I think 4 of us play ranked teams this week.

I got the ball with 3:34 left on the clock tied 14-14 against #18 Miami and managed a 65 yard drive to the 3 yard line with :03 seconds left and put it through the uprights for the win.
I'm trying to force the running game and stay as true as possible to the Pistol but their D-Line ripped my Offensive Line apart all game.
