I made it to 30 and now super burnt out of the game. Thinking of screwing around in the dark side of this game after messing with the tracking maps to see if I can get an alternate account to 40 quickly.

The grind really is pretty big. I am half way through 25 and it is moving slowly when I am playing passively. I also get a lot of "are you a passenger" notifications just walking around. My GPS sometimes has me off and it corrects in a hurry causing the message. The shorter distance of the tracker is now just out of range of a good spawn site near my house. I used to be able to see what was there 24 minutes after the hour. Now I have to leave the house to see.

Maybe I'm the only one. But I was just out and caught about 20 Pokemon used a combo of great/normal balls and didn't have a single Pokemon break out. I would soften them up with razz berries though.
Also I'm lvl 17. So maybe that makes a difference. I dunno?

I get that just sitting on my fricking couch if my phone is having a hard time getting a GPS lock. Its absurd.

Yeah I'm pretty much an egg hatcher mainly or just increasing my tank of water pokes from the LSU lakes but I use MapMyFitness and it'll run in the background while I have Go up; I'm sure your app will do the same but idk for sure obviously. Seems like a lot of them do though.

I tried using it yesterday to track a Tauros for about 5 minutes until he finally just disappeared. I just need him for my Pokedex though he is fairly common in my area I can't seem to ever find him. He's been on my nearby at least 10 times though I have never even encountered/seen him.

It most likely will, just maybe not as good as you'd like. I usually run 4 miles and don't get that much credit toward eggs.
Finally got my account back, but not as into it as I was a few weeks ago. I'll hatch my 10k egg and see what happens but I might be donezo. Team Yellow...

Makes a huge difference, at lvl 25 Pokemon start not like being in poke balls. At 30 you just eat poke balls like crazy to catch one Pokemon.

The part about Arlington made me LOL because we were on the bus tour and I turn PMG on and saw there were 1000 pokestops in there and my wife hit me on the arm and made me turn it off.

This would be great. The evolved forms piss me off in general - they should be worth way more.
I'm getting tired of losing balls with this update. Low CP normals just jumping and attacking back-to-back. There is no set interval between the wild Pokemon dodging now. You can throw a ball immediately after an attack/dodge and still miss.

Hotel in Chicago I just checked into has 2 pokestops and a gym all in range of my room. Looks like I can finally stock on balls.

Looks like the baptist church 0.5 miles away from my house was removed as a gym and Pokestop. That leaves only one within a mile of my house. Another 3 mile run with only 1.5k added to my eggs.
I'm pretty done with this. Will still play casually in new areas or Pokestop packed areas but not daily and will not be leaving the app open on runs anymore since it sucks at tracking for eggs. Will still occasionally hit up the stops at work. So much potential...
