Not a good look.

Especially from this storied program.

I knew they had issues with Kiffen but after listening to this podcast, their fans are mentally unstable and delusional.

They hate LSU
He did a pretty good job of that on his own.
"Set it off" being the season theme would be mint.

Push it through to your people, iPad...

He’ll be in the portal again next season.

This. Unless Underwood gets injured next season, buddy just went to sit behind the highest-paid QB in the country, who happens to be a true freshman. Well, sophomore next season. They're paying him too much not to play.

Great point. And we may get 5 or 10 La kids out of 100. This is not home to the other 95.

Lane mentioned he didn't want to rely so much on the portal. He was hired at the end of a recruiting cycle. I'm confident we'll be bringing in more Louisiana talent in the future. He could have just stayed at Ole Miss, otherwise.
There are a lot of schools that are full of 2/3 star players that love their local university... You've probably never heard of them, though.

The game has changed for better or worse.

Fwiw, there was a young man named Joe Burrow who carried our state on his back with pride, embraced our culture, and became one of us.

Contrarily, there have been a ton of Louisiana kids who spurned us and went to rivals.

Well, he isn't mindfricked by Sloan... Nuss was very good the previous year, and I believe coaching failed him. Some drive-killing drops didn't help, but that can also be attributed to coaching.

LSU is about to go on a Saban like run. We have the money the coach and the alignment to do it in this modern era perhaps like nobody else in the country.

They’ll change the rules before he got to that level. I believe he’d still adapt.

I hear he lives in the gym. Very fundamental.

Lane wants him for a reason. A game manager seems a bit different under Lane than the typical definition.

Can you imagine Brian Kelly having 60+ recruits visiting

I'm sure he surpassed that number in his time at LSU.

LSU originally recruited him hard.

As did Ol Miss. Hopefully, from Lane.

shite, why recruit at all?

Extremely hyperbolic.

and if the ratings don't matter,

Nobody is claiming that they flat out do not matter. The point is they aren't going to be as make-or-break as they were in the past. We mustn't break the bank on the bench for 2-3 years.

A list of key contributors for Miami without Malachi Toney on it? Are you being serious here?

Add him to the list and ita 13:12 in the transfer's favor... I'm sure you can find a couple more and make it one or two more in favor of homegrown players if that makes you feel better.

Half of your list were still recruited players.

Yes, that's exactly what I said. Half of them being transfers obviously equates to the other half being recruits... Are you arguing just to argue at this point?

Which AI gave you this?

For this post, a simple google search. Is it incorrect aside from missing a player or two? No, I didn't do the legwork I did in the OP.

It STILL drives the point. Without their starting QB and the rest of those names in bold, do you believe they are in the playoffs? Miami didn't recruit this team organically. The transfer portal was not simply supplemental.
