You guys don't know how to maximize them, that's why. You need to be moving at at least 200m a min or 7.5 mph and then a Pokemon will spawn every minute.
Also, if you go somewhere where no pokes will naturally spawn(verify by checking with ingress), and then go 7.5 mph, it will spawn random Pokemon instead of those that spawn in the area naturally.

I'm convinced the eggs aren't random and there is a higher chance two evolve certain Pokemon from them.
My 10k egg breakdown: 2 Electabuzz, 3 jynx, 3 scyther, 2 pinsir, 1 snorlax, 1 omanyte, 1 evee.
Happy for the snorlax but the rest is trash.

Those are all contained on the 10k egg chart.
I'm really tired of worthless ones that don't evolve. If I see another Pinsir or Scyther I'm going to flip. I'd be so pissed to get a Pinsir, Onyx, or Scyther from a 10k. Snorlax, Lapras, Aerodactyl or bust. Kabuto or Omanyte for candy is ok maybe.

I know they are on the 10k egg chart. I'm saying do the different Pokemon in those charts have different odds of being hatched from the eggs.

I have decent luck with incense but I use it when I am constantly moving on foot.

Two things are killing me right now:
I've gone 5 level ups without a lucky egg.
I've gotten only one 10k egg in the last two weeks. Seriously.

I usually hatch 1-2 eggs a day, and I haven't had a 10k egg in over two weeks. I just hit level 21 a few days ago, and I've only had 2 10k eggs since pokemon go started. As for the 2nd one, I don't even know when I got it. I think it was a glitch of some sort because it just appeared in the middle of my eggs when opening the game.

Maybe the higher you lvl the more 10k eggs you get. I'm 23 about to hit 24 and it's been a great week for 10k eggs. I've gotten, I believe, five this week. Though the results have been shite.

That Pokemon is only available in Australia and it's also obvious by his name that he is hacking

Wondering about hacking in my local gym. Been trading out the gym for weeks with the same folks over and over and all of the sudden a 3800 dragonite lands from someone that had never been there. I play all over my region and have never seen anything higher than maybe 2500. Keep in mind I play rural but over several towns.

I do t think it's always been region based. I think when the game first launched you could get them all in the US.
I started playing the second day of launch and swear I saw its shadow on my tracker by the east lake golf course here in Atlanta but never found it. Reason I think it was kangas, I could see the side of the baby in the shadow.
He also could've made a trip to Australia. But yea, probably a hack.

3800? i think you may mean 2800 because even Dragonite cant get that high even at 40. I think 3500 is the limit
