I played Chrono Trigger around 2001 and I think it's superior to any of the Final Fantasy games I've played.
Yep.
Oh shite. I thought it was a sequel.
I still need to finish the main game. I guess I have some homework to do.

For those who have played both six and seven, which do you prefer?
Of my friends who have played both, they mostly seem to lean toward six, and I'm wondering if that's generally true. It seems like seven is just remembered so fondly because it was a lot of people's introduction to the final fantasy series on playstation?

 Same.
Was actually talking about getting the wii at a cookout with some neighbors yesterday. Back when it released, we had a big group of college friends up at a cabin in the middle of nowhere.
Got bored on release night, and decided to drive into the tiny mountain town to buy one at their Walmart. We figured nobody would be there since we were in the middle of nowhere, but sure enough there was a line about 100 deep by the time midnight hit. Fortunately, we were like eighth in line, and most of the people behind us went back empty-handed.
We played bowling until like 6 in the morning. It was glorious.

I gave up on them after the PS1 era. Didn't like the direction they were going. I preferred when the tone was mostly swords and castles and not like steam punk, modern shite. The tone began getting way more anime/weird Japanese shite and less medieval fantasy.
This. I loved all of the snes games, but gave up pretty early on ff7. It's funny because one of the main reasons I bought a backwards compatible ps3 years ago was to finally play 7. To me, it just didn't have the same magic as the older titles.
Sansa just kind of forgot about the dead Starks in the crypt.

Skyward Sword is possibly the most forgettable Zelda game. I played it but remember absolutely nothing about it.

You don't remember having to fight an avocado with claw-toes an obnoxious number of times?
LOL. Having to fight that thing ten times is definitely the most memorable part of Skyward Sword. Other than that, I do really like the game. It's not among my favorites in the series, but I'd rather replay it than TotK.
Also, since I already posted about Office Space once, this popped up, is both movie and sports related, and I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it...

I'm not connecting the dots. It was such an odd reply. It's almost like she heard the question, thought it was stupid, and tried to give a rambling non-answer that also came out stupid.

Sucker Punch. I've actually watched it more than once, hoping it would be good.
THANK YOU.
When I saw the trailer, I was 100% thinking this could be one of the greatest, mindless action flicks of all time. Hot chicks fighting giant robots, Nazis, samurai, etc. How could this be bad?
I fell asleep probably a third into the movie. Just awful, and I still can't figure out exactly what went wrong.

You one of those on the spectrum folk who can't process that what is being discussed here is that IN THE MOVIE, she was never called or referred to as 'Michelle Jones'?
This is literally the end of Homecoming... their teacher calls her Michelle... IN THE MOVIE.

There’s no other way to explain the bizzare choice of tears of the kingdom, a game I did not enjoy and isn’t good.
If it weren't for the infinite item drop glitches, I don't think I would've finished Tears of the Kingdom. The item requirements to upgrade armor and your battery were absurd. I also hated how a lot of the sky islands and tasks were just copy and pasted over and over again. It made everything about the game more of a chore and less about exploration and discoveries. I'd play Breath of the Wild again, but no desire to ever revisit TotK.

The only thing I know about the Yakuza games are the Fleekazoid reviews... and they're glorious.

It looked like Tolliver held up his end of the pass blocking assignments on just about every play. There were a cpuple of times where Stockton pulled the ball down to run where it looked like the pocket was still in good shape, but those could've just been due to good coverage by Bama downfield.

Does a good job breaking down why texas has so many holding penalties... due to their o-line blocking scheme. Begins at the 17 min 43 sec mark.
