Added 3 more to the Pokedexdexter today. Caught grimes and Nidoking. Also evolved Victreebel.

Yeah I got a grimer added to my dex yesterday as well via egg. Still working on my nido -King -queen.

I have seen a lot of people, myself included, getting Grimer recently. That can't just be coincidence.
I am incubating two 10km eggs so I am hoping for something good. I don't get anything new very often anymore from my 5km eggs. I hope that I can at least get something that I am trying to evolve since the candies are usually a good amount.

Well I ran down town real quick because I had about a 30 minute window to go hunting for mons. I literally just made one run down Texas street. There was some kind of event going on that had the area that normally has a bunch of lures blocked off. I went around and bam, both were right there. The Nidoking and Grimer. I didn't think there was anyway I would catch both.
I also had Gengar come up on my nearby but I couldn't find him.

Oh yeah the whole point of the story was that I'm not sure what event they were having in downtown Shreveport yesterday but maybe that had something to do with it.

Rapidash, Tentacruel and Sandwhsrew.
Also got lots of eggs since we ate at a restaurant that is a Pokestop and somehow between sitting at the table and driving home it registered 2.0 km on al my eggs. I can only guess that my phone sucks so the GPS repositions me a lot and it registers the KM.

I just missed on a 518 Squirtle. I only had one great ball and one ultra left when I found him. I couldn't get a decent hit on him and after the 2nd regular ball he fled.

Also I evolved another Vape. He was a 690cp with an 87 average iv. He evolvedid into an 1830 with water pulse. 
That makes two Vapes with Hydro Pump and like 5 with water pulse. FML

While in KC for a wedding this weekend I had a lot of time in the hotel and there was a pokestop there. There were lures on the stop most of the time so I racked up a ton of catches. I wen't from lvl 15 to 18 this weekend alone.
This game is jacked up, I managed to log 1K on my eggs by not even moving because apparently the GPS couldn't fix my position and would move me around roughly a 500 sq ft area. This created a problem sometimes because it would put me out of range of the pokestop. Ratta's sub 100 cp were taking 8 balls and then running.

Added an Arbok, Shellder, and Cubone last night so that makes me happy.

Evolved a Marowak yesterday, but missed the last Mankey that would have given me Primeape. 2 Oddish away from Vileplume as well.
114 on the dex with another few evolves in close range.
I'm now convinced that incense is shite even if you are walking - it just spawns garbage. Lures are where it's at.
I'm also thinking that where you pick up eggs has something to do with what hatches. I've gotten mainly shite that I catch all the time from my 5ks - Staryu, Krabby, Voltorb, Magnemite. If I catch those frequently where I get the egg, could it be more likely that eggs will hatch those? If so, that sucks balls.

Individual Value is tied to the hidden stats in the game for attack defense. But really I use it more as a tie breaker. If one month has great cp and decent quick attack and charged attack vs one that has the same cp but lesser valued attacks, then I pick the first one.
But if both have the same attacks and similar cp I will use their iv to determine which to evolve or power up. It's mainly used if you want to take down gyms.

I am heading to Columbia, SC this week for a work conference. Hopefully I can expand the Dex and level up a bit.

For a week I've been 2 Oddish away from a pretty high powered Vileplume. Just now a Vileplume randomly spawns on me - CP32 hahaha. Caught it though. 115 now.

Is anyone having any luck catching specific type pokemon in certain locations? I have only come across one fire type pokemon since ive started and only one rock type.... there has to be some sort of trick to this

Welcome, going to be around downtown?
It's pretty active, but for some reason the 20+ pokestops that were on the state house grounds were removed. There were like 200 people every night playing

Now today every decent mon (bulbasaur, oddish, jigglypuff, etc) the screen is freezing and/or I have to shut it off cause it won't let me click on the and they go away.
