Protip: holding start brings you directly to the map

Not a fan of the interaction button being the same as the aim button. I saved some chick from a kidnapping then when I tried talking to her I accidentally aimed at her and she got spooked and ran away

Definately a few issues with the buttons. Trying to make friendly conversation only to find out I’m pulling out a gun on a shop keeper. This game is amazing though.

Yeah the control scheme is overly complex but you get used to it.
Regardless I'm amazed at how detailed the world is. They must have had an army of people going over every inch of it. Definitely the most alive open world game like this I've played. Once you've unlocked pretty much everything (which takes like at least 10 hours, if not more) there's always something to do.
This game definitely gets one of the biggest compliments you can pay a game: It's extremely difficult to stop playing it and hours fly by without you realizing it.

The only major thing I haven't unlocked yet is fishing. I'm assuming there will be a mission that introduces it? Pretty much all the other major mechanics or minigames have a mission that sort of introduces and unlocks them.
I get the feeling I will waste dozens of hours fishing, considering I already waste a ton of time playing Five Finger Filet.

Havent unlocked either of those yet but last night I was on the way to a collection mission when i rode up on some deer drinking by lake. I abandoned my misison, killed a deer and a turkey that was also in the area and brought the food back to camp. I never would have done something like that in a game before this.

Want to second the cinematic camera being implemented very well.
Any time I'm traveling I use it and hold x, then I can drink, eat snacks, etc. Makes you wonder why they couldn't put it in GTA to follow the radar path in cars. Otherwise cinematic camera is pretty useless in GTA you can't drive with it

I walked into a bank, cop said something to me, and accidentally hit the button to choke a bitch

Still trying to get use to the “draw” gun fight mechanic and also didn’t like how when you would interact with people it would say “RT to aim gun”, well half the time you pull RT to do so he’d shoot as soon as he pulls his gun out.
Started Chapter 3 last night

So are you paying off bounties or letting it ride? I ran up $100 bounty with the whole choking a bitch incident and having to shoot my way out of town

Just been letting them ride because I do the littlest things and I run up another one.

Some O’driscolls recognized me while I was going back to camp and I had to kill them lol.

I’m confused about what I’m supposed to be doing at my camp. So just simply donate cash into the box and things get upgraded? Everything else seems grayed out on the map.

I really do role play hard so this pace works great. I go full days of just doing chores.
I go out and spend a day in town and get the important stuff out of the way(bathing/sleeping in the hote/drinking) and go for days at a time on hunting trips

Where do you take your game kills in your camp? I took a deer to where the butcher is but when you sit it down the place it outside of camp? I know you can skin it and turn it in but what about the meat?
