As a medic, the only time Im near a tank is to revive Lew after it kills him

Yeah, it's just kind of how it is right now. Almost everyone's a pro. But you can still do some work. Javelins are really awesome when someone is using a SOFLAM to paint targets. You really need a good team player to do that and no one does.

Try not to focus on killing people, and focus more on the objective and helping your teammates with med packs, ammo, repair, etc.
Ive had many games at the top of the leaderboard with as little 6 kills

SOFLAM is in the recon class and you unlock it in the early levels. I never played as a recon this whole time I played the game, but recently (like last week) I started playing as a recon and I unlocked it this weekend.
Anyway, I think you can either bring it with you and use like binoculars or set it on a mountain top somewhere. You can just leave it there, but it would help to always man it and paint targets with it.
If a target is painted, Javelins and Stingers can track them (for longer distances, for as long as it's painted). If someone paints a ground vehicle with a SOFLAM, Javelins can now lock on quickly and do a top down attack which I think is a one hit disable (Javelins only do straight line tracking without the SOFLAM).
What it takes is teamwork. You basically have to have a player that will say I'm cool with painting stuff all round and not getting any kills while the rest of you have fun.
ETA: My bad, it's really hard to not be wordy. It's much easier in the game--see red diamond on a chopper? Take out Javelin/Stinger, lock, kill. Do it again!

What? The first map was Caspian, I think...I can't control the map rotation, bro. It was taking long enough to find a server that didn't mix in some gay mode like Tank Superiority or something.

I think ATVs are only in Armored Kill...the worst DLC pack. But they have motorcycles in End Game.
