I considered it, but decided it was worth what I was paying
It also gives us TV when we camp, where there is no wifi, so being able to watch LSU football after duck hunting was a must have

I was paying $136/month and all I was watching were baseball games, the programming on MLB Network and Disney Jr. and HBO. I have the MLB Premium TV service to catch all the games and they have an MLB Network tab to watch all that content live and I just signed up for HBO Now, and I have logins for Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime so I'm covered.
Plus, it'll force me to watch some really good shows that I haven't yet.
I'm only paying $15/month for HBO and $65/month for internet. All I need now is an antenna for the HD over the air stuff for NFL games and I'm good.

You should be fine with an indoor antenna.

A little bummed that HBO Now isn't supported on Smart TV's but note I need a chromecast or Amazon stick. HBO Now is only supported on Apple TV and chromecast at the moment.
ETA looks like it is on Amazon Fire TV devices soon.

I would get the firetv over the chromecast
I think the chromecast only works with another device doing the streaming

Do you have the stick or the box?
Posted on 8/12/15 at 12:00 pm to The Sad Banana
I actually have one of each
I recommend the box because you can hardwire it and it has more memory
I bought the stick on prime day because it was only 24 bucks but I haven't even opened it

For whoever was looking for a roomba type vacuum not long ago, the one I bought is on sale again for the same deal
I'm pretty happy with it for the price

any of you folks ever paid for landscape design and install?
How much?
How much?
Posted on 8/12/15 at 12:47 pm to MrPappagiorgio
I have not
My dad did however and the estimate on install for his house was north of 35K
He took a red pen to the landscape architects plans and cut that in half

I think so too, but he lives in a 600k +/- house on a corner lot and had both the front and backyards done
None of that shite is cheap, we just aren't used to seeing the prices on paper

I used a neighbor who's business is landscaping and yard cutting. He did mine for around that price. Basically front of the house and a little on the side. Designed and installed.
