seems a bit ridiculous.
the turboman roll out was much more efficient than this crap.
if it takes 24 hrs to cancel my order then that seems a bit excessive. Should be able to do cancels in about 15 mins with computers

Yeah everyone I’m seeing seems like they got canceled yesterday, like right after or within a couple hours. Hopefully we good.

Just reading a bit of that twitter timeline it seems that many of the cancellations used and auto-cart feature? Is this the alliance link that Finch posted or something different?

they can't be cancelling order for people who used that link specifically. what's the point of the link then?
the only people i've seen get cancelled are those that bought more than one. or because walmart oversold. if you snagged one at 3:40 eastern, your chances of getting cancelled are higher than those who snagged at 3:10 eastern.

I agree. Some are trying to draw that parallel, but I feel like your reasons are the most logical. Also, some are saying that if your address/account has ordered one in the last 48 hrs, you will get canceled. One even said they were canceling some that Walmart thought were bots. I don’t know how they could tell that.

I got mine at the 3:30 block. I'm hoping for the best. I'll still look for other places to buy just in case. Until I unbox it and download 16TBs worth of updates, I won't get too excited.

I got mine at the 2:10 cst block, but am still awaiting that cancellation. Although most are saying the cancellations came in within 10 mins of order. So, no one really knows at this point.

fyi, the PS Direct queue will give you a checkbox captcha with the additional images selection (select every image with a fire hydrant).
