For what it is worth since I used an affiliate link--> Walmart "help" chat gets you to a person, or really good customer service bot, where they can confirm your order number in their system. It was less than a 1 min wait--->
Is my order still looking good : Thank you so much for letting us know your concern RSANDE6, please let me tell you that your order is on our system and everything look good with that. It will shows processing until it ships, once order ships you will receive an email with tracking information and estimated delivery date.
Can it come earlier ( fyi, not getting anybody's hopes up ) : Yes, there is a chance it arrives earlier than Jan 08 because we always work hard to ship and deliver orders as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately the direct site said order by today at 2pm eastern for delivery before christmast. at list it likely wont be as late as the walmart drops.

Still way earlier than shipping on Jan 8 which is the first Walmart order.
