For those January 8 orders? Not happening. Christmas is in 7 days, 5 business days. You'd have to see some movement on your account today. Maybe Lew can send you one of his 350 PS5's that he ordered.

Woolfman,
I'm the half-aggravating guy at the store always asking for a 20% discount or free bottle of wine if I buy enough.I was raised to haggle and it actually works more than you think.
I called Wal-Mart customer service to ask for a favor and ship mine early versus "arrive by 1/8". She laughed and basically said no, good try. They use a 3rd party vendor Shipping/Shop2Go (sp?) she said and once your order is carted the fulfilment vendors take it. She said no way before Christmas but it could be a day or two earlier OR a day late based on standard shipping hazards.
I laughed and told her I had to try and asked for a free PS5 media remote and she gave me a $10 credit on the app then she hung up on me....
Secondly, The Walmart Global lady from LinkedIn called me this morning...she was not surprised badged Wal Mart employees were selling marked up units in Wal Mart parking lots. She checked and it was not illegal in Texas and said they probably informed multiple friends & hid them. Managers were supposed to prevent employees from making an individual purchase. She also has seen a new scam--> people returning a Ps4 in the Ps5 box to get their money back and tricking the people behind the counter , or they are willing participants.
She basically said thanks for the report, reaching out, and read the press release about bot detection to me verbatim.
She closed asking how my search went and I told her I promised this call was not about getting a unit from her or asking for a favor so I declined to answer and told her Merry Christmas.

Oh, I could have told you talking to a customer rep at Walmart about shipping would have gone that way. It’s Walmart, they don’t care when we get the order, just that we pay for it.

The console i got from WM the weds before Thanksgiving was ordered on weds, shipped by solutions to go on Saturday and delivered Tuesday.
Its possible but I'm not expecting it this close to Christmas.

I doubt I get lucky with my Walmart orders. I haven't had the second one cancelled though so that's nice.

I said that yesterday, Amazon was likely the only way anyone would get it before Christmas. That's awesome!

I haven't received the shipping yet for my Amazon but it still says Arriving Sunday. I want to believe.

Wasn’t the one on Wednesday (2 days ago) their biggest release yet? I doubt they will ship as fast as your order.
But then again, I never would have thought i would actually secure one, so anything is possible

My walmart order from Tuesday went from showing the "Preparing" progress bar to nothing. Not sure what that means, if anything. It's not cancelled, so that's at least a good sign.
