mine was last Tuesday. So it took 1 week for them to decide to ship it

Mine was shipped last night and out for delivery today. Walmart order on the first day.
Still have not been charged for it

how can i find tracking number if it's preparing order?

So, mine was delivered yesterday. What happened prior was that it went from Preparing to Shipped. I did not received an email as a label was printed at 1:30am on 12/18 in Brookhaven, MS. However, there was a tracking number at that time. Once I clicked it, it stayed in the walmart app and said I would get it on Dec. 22. I took the tracking number into fedex and it said delivery on 12/19. The walmart app and fedex tracking never updated from Label Printed on 12/18. Of course, it wasn't delivered on 12/19. That night, the app and fedex updated with its location and fedex updated the delivery to 12/21. The walmart app is usually behind fedex by half a day or so as to the tracking updates. It delivered yesterday.
I don't know of any of this helps, but this was my experience.

Make a FedEx account using your name and address and use the manage my deliveries feature.
If a label is created for your address it should pop up there. Took forever to show up on the walmart app.
FedEx just delivered. Walmart still hasn't charged me. Real weird.

So 30 minutes after my order was delivered. Walmart app gives me the notification saying its on the way. Their app is just way behind right now.

My Walmart app just updated mine to “shipped”. That beast is in Louisville, KY right now.
Hoping I get it in the next day or so.

blah i can't do anything until i enter the activation code. is there any workaround? i will not get that until 3-5 business days.

Not sure about that. I already had the account from awhile back and don't remember waiting for a code. Never had to wait that long for a verification code anywhere, they must be backed up too.

I should have better clarified. Walmart app still says 1/7 for me, but FedEx says tomorrow.

I tried to call GameStop and they have an automated message that says the reason shipping carriers are taking longer than expected to update tracking information is because online sales have been higher than expected. I’ve got 2 packages coming from GameStop and one says 12/23 and another says pending, but still in the label created phase. Maybe they really did pick it up and just never scanned it.

Mine said label created forever on Fedex from walmart. Said it was supposed to ship yesterday. Fedex picked it up at 4pm in arkansas, and had it to me by 10:30 am in La. They shipping quick at least.
