Looks like we will have to delay the advance a day, sorry everybody. I had to make an emergency trip to NOLA for a family member who is scheduled for surgery.

Ohio State definitely found the "hookers and blow" button, I was leading for a 5* guy and had him on a visit, then the following week I fall to second place by 400+ points

I wired him $5000 after our last discussion. Just helping his family pay the bils.

Just had a huge defensive struggle with Auburn. Mettenberger was knocked out of the game with a concussion on his second throw in the first quarter. I had to turn to Jerrard Randall who can't throw worth a shite so my offense quickly went to ground and pound.

I was losing 10-7 at half but a 60 yard TD flea flicker pass from Randall to Russell Shepard and a pick-6 by Eric Reid sealed the game and my first SEC win.

Will advance to week 6 in a bit.

Once again, LSU sets offensive football back a million years but escapes with a win.

Thanks to 3 safeties forced by the defense and a 44 yard field goal from Drew Alleman with 15 seconds to go in the game, LSU kept their record unblemished with a 18-17 win over Virginia Tech in front of many blue chip recruits in attendance.

Va Tech - 7 3 0 7 - 17
LSU ------ 5 4 0 9 - 18

The craziest sequence of the game came when LSU trailed 17-9 with under 5 minutes to go in the fourth. Quarterback Zach Mettenberger – fresh off his 3rd interception of the game – converted 3 fourth and long conversions and led the Tigers on a 75 yard scoring drive that ended with a16 yard touchdown pass to seldom used freshman receiver Avery Johnson.

However, the Va Tech defense was able to hold onto the lead as they stuffed a Spencer Ware run on the two point conversion.

The Hokies got the ball back with 1:19 left, but LSU still had two timeouts that they quickly used to set up a third and long with 1:09 to go.

Instead of running the ball for a third time and waste clock, The Hokies decided to try and get the first down and put the game on ice. Quarterback Logan Thomas dropped back and threw a deep ball intended for Dyrell Roberts. However, LSU's Tharold Simon stepped in front and accounted for the Tigers only interception of the game and ran the ball back into Virignia Tech territory.

Three runs by LSU set up Alleman for the clincher to an exciting defensive struggle between two top 20 teams.

Anyone else think it may be time to bump to Heisman? I just played USF and they had 1 first down on 14 yards total offense

eta: that sounds like a hell of a game Broski
