after a few disappointing PUBG squad finishes last night. Me and HG (pevy) switched over to Ark since he's never played it. That also didn't go well. We spawned in the dark, in pouring rain. And died about 4-5 times before being able to make a campfire and some basic clothes. Poor HG, probably not how you would want to introduce someone to Ark.
We are also discussing getting a squad together to replay Borderlands 2 once PUBG and Battlefront 2 get stale. Especially since it seems it may be 2019 til we see Borderlands 3.

Dude, I got on last night around 8 and the test server crashed on me everytime I started matchmaking.

Found out my laptop can run Fortnite pretty well. Fired it up, made it to top 25 with no kills.
Got into a 1v1 and some dude built an 8 bedroom mansion before I could figure out how to switch materials. Got shitted on instantly.
Said frick that and fired up fortnite on the PS4. Won a game, felt good about myself, and went to bed.

It doesn't even feel like the same game outside of the game engine mechanics.
1. No more weird space lore. You are hanging out at a man camp with other hard legs.
2. Sense of wonder that Destiny 1 held not there. Maps just feel smaller to me. Maybe just more repetitive.
3. PvP is the worst PvP I have ever seen in a game. It is basically 4v4 practice session. The Crucibal in 1 was actually fun and expensive.
4. Reward system doesn't reward. Nothing feels unique or special. Go back to random rolls.
5. Mods.. mods.. how the fckk do you in manage your mods?
