Don't be a frickin douche, dude. I don't know about Everquest because I haven't played, but all the games he listed are great. Just because you disagree doesn't mean his list is stupid.

quote:I actually agree with the OP on two. OoT and Dragon Age are two of my absolute favorites. I'd have to replace football with either Star Fox 64 because it was revolutionary for gaming at the time (like OoT) or the Mass Effect series.
Let's see your shitty list.

yeah, the football thing was because I never got beat at it and played it a lot, too much
I still play the NCAA football series, but fantasy RPG games are my vice

Goldeneye
Halo: Combat Evolved
Call of Duty 4
If we're talking about multiplayer games.
If were talking about single player it's a whole different list.

single or multi, just whatever game you enjoyed the most? Not necessarily the best. As a kid I loved supertechno bowl with my friends, but in no way is it one of the best games. Same with me and NCAA football, which is why I reluctantly put it on my list. I prefer individual games since I dont necessarily play well with others
but when I can I've had some good times

The Legend of Zelda
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark - essentially Goldeneye 1.5, IMO
Halo: CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3
Super Mario RPG
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Gears of War 1-3
Super Mario World
RBI Baseball
Elder Scrolls III and IV

Ninja Gaiden (Xbox)
eta: I play a ton of NCAA Football, but I have a love/hate relationship so it doesn't make the list.

Three games... damn that is tough.
I can give you three series that I know I play the most. These three series I never get tired of, always pick up the next installment, and have probably shaped my gaming experience the most. These are the top three series I can't wait to share with my future kids.
1. Legend Of Zelda
2. Mario
3. NCAA
There are some games out there (Halflife, Fallout 3, RE4 (GC edition), Pokemon, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest, Halo:CE, etc) that have been great games though.
