Think it’s about 3 feet but I’ll measure when I get home, it’s pretty much perfect on my desk from where I sit. Basically my whole frame of vision.

TVs have updates, they have apps that update. Usually at an inopportune time. So I went with monitors on my 5800x3d, 6700xt build a few years ago. Started with auros 43", then upped it to the auros 48". Both great monitors. You do need to be back about 24 to 30" for best viewing. I have a larger desk, so it works great for me.

3840 x 2160, 120 HZ on 48", and it looks great. Took a bit to get the sizing per game figured out.
3840 x 2160 144 HZ on 43", this one has better colors in game.

Mostly mmo, arpg, action type games. No racing or shooters though.

Basic productivity stuff is great, once you get your sizing right for fonts and layout.

Never had any desire to even look at an ultrawide, those monitors just don't appeal to me.

Yeah I got the C4 due to a crazy deal and 144hz. It’s a little annoying having to turn it on or having to use the remote but it’s really not bad in the desk setting. I got tired of the “HDR” on most monitors and didn’t trust their OLED like I do from LG in experience.

I do agree that you need a big desk for 40+ but if you got the space it’s hard to go back after doing it.

I know monitors and PC are better, but I can't play video games unless I'm kicked back in a recliner, so big screen tv it is for me.

I’ll never go back to standard ratio. Utterly game changing for me.
