Like when Poppi runs in place because of some positive emotion, that stuff gets to me
But so far, so good. The battle system is a ton of fun, but I have the worst luck with random rolls so I....

Rolled healing orbs for my second Blade with Rex. So blah. I want a greatlance or spear badly. And this is the kind of stuff that I get obsessed with...min/maxing core rolls.

At the end of the prologue when Rex is running around saying "Aiiiiiiyahh" I couldn't keep from laughing because he is saying it in the most subdued way. That entire sequence, while awesome, is ridiculous.

There's some spot on Gormott where there's like an endless supply of Red Wolf things....I think I fought like 30 in a row. COnstant combos all over the place.

when do you get a second blade? Is it right after you get to that first town?
And yeah i never go for healing. I'll try to either build a tank that can just sit and absorb damage or i'll make a low defense, offensive powerhouse. It's alot of fun to make a pure offensive weapon and then have to figure out how to slaughter shite with precision or you die. I love that you have to time your moves and combos right. The combat system is just perfect ad far as I'm concerned, although i never pay attention to what my other party member is doing at all.
For my character, I rarely go for something balanced, I'm usually one extreme or the other.
I made it to the first town on Gormott and then ive just been running around aimlessly killing shite lol. Always my problem with these games. I like running around and exploring way too much. I'll need to go do story missions until i get my second blade and then go back to the killing fields.

Dang, you are right. But yes, there's something that happens when nyou first get to town...after a few missions the second blade spot should open. NOW, I'm in explore mode, I've done nothing but town quests and running around killing stuff since I've been here. I did get my first rare drop, finally....and he is a beast. Love it.

Both. I don't get the calls about the blurriness or anything on handheld. But I didn't get them for the other games either, Doom and Fifa. I just don't expect 1080p on handheld and I'm not sure why that has to "be a standard."

How is it obnoxious? They didn't say you should get 1080 in handheld. It doesn't even do 480 in handheld.
It is well done and not degrading your precious Nintendo product at all. Just pointing out severe technical issues in some areas. Stop getting your manhood offended.
Edt: They even offer solutions to fix the issues in case you do drop down below 20fps which is EXTREMELY common.

The technical issues are more so hardware related. Limited VRAM is really holding the console back but then the old arse Tegra is doing the same.
What you are referring to was their comparison of Xeno X vs Xeno 2 engine upgrades. They are just talking about some differences.

It was the first quest I had
I got 3 more crystals from just salvaging right near the town. The first two were healers and one of their weapons was this goofy volleyball you throw at people. The problem is neither of them stood a chance to replace Pyra. And they were both females.
Then I got huge attack knight with a needle Lance. It's awesome. I geared him out and he's replaced pyra as my main blade for now until I find a rare one. He was common, but his affinity special is to recover 3.5% health per second while moving. So I can just run in circles around enemies healing if they don't have range. It's allowed me to take down some higher lvl shite.
I assume the rares will have better affinity charts.

Rare. His name is Godfrey he's a Tank/Hammer with Ice Elemental. His passives are just awesome and include lots of HP regen. He pairs well with Pyra, however, ice is tough to combo with now, so I can only run a couple of combos with Tora. I see me using him nearly exclusively, he provides a little buffing and a lot of tankiness, which is generally how I run my characters. Love Paladin, Bard types.
