I can’t get away from TP5x either. I’ve tried Pro V1x and don’t like it at all compared to TP5x.
My backup ball if i’m going the “cheap” route is a Callaway supersoft. Love the feel of em but only downside is I don’t feel like you get distance off the tee with em.

Found an AVX yesterday so tried it out. Off the tee it was a rocket. Nice low trajectory, penetrating. Used it on a par 5 so next shot was a fairway wood. That was a rocket too. Unfortunately, my alignment was off and it was a straight rocket into the Missouri River.
That was the end of my experience with the AVX. Can say it flys. Can't comment about green side because it never made it there.

I've been playing them for over a year now. Love them. The lower ball flight is perfect for me.

Thanks! I guess I’ve been naive to that and just assumed the “x’s” matched each other.
