You are correct. For all we know they do not possess the technology to fire a nuclear missile at us... today.
Should we leave them alone then and allow them to someday acquire the technology? Should we leave them to enrich enough uranium to develop a dirty bomb that could be smuggled into the USA and detonated here?
The price of doing nothing now will end up being a price we can't afford to pay. They will nuke us or somebody else if they are allowed the means to do so.
What do you propose we do? Nothing? Sit around and wait for it?

Patton thought we'd take the Russians, I think I'd agree with him.

I'm not sure what the relevancy of one of them being a woman is. Why do they keep bringing that up?
Did you listen to the interview? It's because those psychos believe that if s woman dies a virgin she goes to heaven. So in order to ensure she goes to hell, the woman is gang raped before they execute her.
Honestly, it's barbaric crap like that gets me to think maybe we should put troops on the ground and kill all those bastards. It would be a just and righteous cause to fight for their liberation. Freaking animals.
I think this might be the best Stanley Cup playoffs we've seen in years.
The East is a toss up. No idea who is going to come out if that side. The West has the Avs, but anything can happen there. Min/Dal is going to be a bloodbath. Oilers could be primed to make a run. Vegas is always tough.
This is going to be a fun, wild ride.

Yes, Wrestlemania sales are soft.
I dream of a day where Vincent Kennedy McMahon buys the WWE back from TKO for pennies on the dollar.

You risked $8,821.72 to win $466.10? You could get a much better ROI investing in an index fund.
Wild win tonight, on to Dallas. That series should be great.
Anybody who does not have a team, jump on the Sabres bandwagon, it's ok. It's been a long time for that team and that city is going to go crazy. Those games will be electric.

Don't know why this just popped into my head, I remember reading that the UK just recently finished paying off their war debt they owed the USA from WW2.
Did the USSR ever repay us for everything we gave them to support their war effort? I assume not since the Cold War settled in.

Yep. First timers should jump on the Sabres wagon. Should be a ride.
NCAA is a joke. Like any Iowa fan cares what they say. The games didn't happen? Yeah, sure.
I remember the Internet back in 1994 at the computer lab in college. Maybe I just lacked vision, obviously, but I and many of my friends didn't think much about the internet revolutionizing the future.
First off, it was freaking slow back then, real slow. Who had time to sit there all day while something uploaded?
Secondly, websites like Yahoo! were free. I couldn't wrap my head around a company that just gives away it's services as being something that would last.
Interesting to look back on and see how wrong I was. Especially about not buying Amazon stock. Literally, was going to buy Amazon in my brokerage account but instead bought some other stock that turned out to go to penny stock status and no longer exists.

WW1 Museum in Kansas City is a must visit for anybody interested in this topic. Plan to spend an entire day there, possibly two. I spent 6 hours there and felt I just scratched the surface. Also, be prepared to feel totally depressed for a couple of days and a few restless nights sleeping. It's an extremely somber place if you get into it and let the enormity and gravity seep in.
I would agree that the world might be a better place if the USA had stayed out of WW1 and Germany would have "won" or at least sued for peace in a stalemate. The Treaty of Versailles would have never happened and set the stage for Hitler and WW2.
Wonder what that timeline looks like.

I will say, I was very impressed with Oba's promo last night. He nailed it.
The best match of WM is going to be Seth v Gunther. Too bad they couldn't go back and have time to lay more of a foundation for that one.
I'm looking forward to the undercards more than the Main Events. Trick Williams whipping Sami's arse should be fun. Don't mess that up HHH.

My parents lived through JFK & RFK assassinations and my dad getting sent off to Vietnam. Those were some truly dark times. We recovered after rough decade in the 70s (debatable because culturally the 70s were pretty awesome, financially, not so much) and we got back to peak America on the 80s and 90s.
We can recover from 9/11, if we choose, and the late 2020s and the next 20 years can become peak again.

1984-1985 was peak America. Springsteen, MJ, Madonna, Prince...Ozzy, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, early Metallica. Movies like Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, and Goonies. 1984 Olympics, a unified country where politics had not consumed the minds of the whackos.
Born in 1973, graduated 1991 HS and 1995 college. These times are really messed up, but the good news is I am starting to feel the pushback and rejection of the PC/cancel culture. A rejection by the youth of "Karens" and over bearing adults. Young people really interested in how life was for their parents and wanting to return to what things were like in the 80s and 90s.
I have some faith that these kids can do it if we help them and don't screw things up.

16 hours straight, gas and go only, from West Texas to South Dakota. Started the trip it was 90 degrees. I ended the trip driving into a blizzard.
Also have done 12 hours straight to Detroit, one time in a full on Midwest blizzard the entire way. That sucked major balls.
Now, I don't like going over 8-10 hours, but will do it if I have to.

Trump should actually be promoting work from home to make it more affordable for families to have kids by eliminating the major expense of childcare.

That was a damn good shot. Been all over my kids I coach that loooove to go bar down but end up clanging it off the glass that a shot just above the pad when the goalie goes down in the butterfly is a great shot.

I knew that was going to happen. Michigan had been carrying the play, but the longer this went on, I just said to myself, Denver is going to get a shot off and win this.

To be fair, stick hit the hands on a scoring opportunity. Yeah, I wouldn't have called it.
Nobody wants a penalty to decide this game.
