my daughter(no pics) is getting married in Carmel Valley in late October and we’ve already booked a tee time there the Thursday morning before the wedding. Checking to see if anyone here has played it and what are your thoughts on the course. One of my FIL’s nephews did the research and picked that course.

Yes I have in November, AMAZING!!!! Designed by Allister MacKenzie who also did Augusta National and Cypress Point but says Pasatiempo is his favorite. His home is on #6! Make time to visit the golf shop bur the clubhouse is loaded with cool history.

Only bad thing was greens were about an 8 but I don't think they are playable for the average golfer if they get them above about a 10.

It’s magical. Enjoy! There is one yahoo on here that’ll post something about the front 9 being ruined by over development or something like that. Don’t listen to that. The whole course is terrific.

It is simply tremendous. I walked it and it rained steady to heavy from hole 9 on. Bunkers still played like powder.

Walk it if you can so you can take it in. Bring some money for a shirt or other souvenir as you will want one even though you likely won’t score well.

It is a challenge, but one of the great Mackenzie designs you can actually play. I have it ranked in my personal top ten even though I only played it once.

I've never played it but it is well known in architectural circles. Dig into it online. Check out The Fried Egg. It'll get you excited to play it.

Thanks for that link. Was cool to see that. Brings back memories. I absolutely will be playing this course again if I go back to Pebble.

Drop Poppy add Pasa.
