Also, are these areas not on the edge/periphery of #2 green?

Did you not read my post? I forgot that I was supposed to be taking pictures. I was there with guests, supporting the golf course. We bought their food and drinks, enjoyed my copper card discount, and had a great day.

I certainly didn’t remember specifically which holes he mentioned. I also said most were fine.

No, not only on the edge.

Jesus, next time I’ll try to remember to take pictures. It’s definitely playable, but not without some problems. Y’all are being super defensive of Copper. I love the place, but some greens have issues. It’s not that big of a deal.

City Park is currently as good as you can expect City Park to ever be. They're medium speed, a little bumpy in spots thanks to hardly anyone fixing ball marks, and #7 still looking like a fun-house mirror.

That being said, really solid for City Park though. Even #5 is in good shape.

please know that Copper Mill has a new Superintendent that started late in the growing season. The fact that you can see visable repairs and consistent top dressing of the bad areas in question lets you know that this guy cares and is changing the culture there. I know the Superintendent very well and he has done amazing at every other golf course he has been at. Give him time and keep supporting Copper Mill and it will continue to improve and be one of the best options in the BR area again.

I agree. It's obvious they're trying to fix the problem spots.

Played Webb for first time in 43 years, since I read on this site that the greens were better than usual for Webb. Greens were puttable, well worth the 18 dollar green fee. I hit two traps; both were in good shape. Walked 18 in 3 hours with an early morning tee time. Would play again.

They need to put in a new green 30 or so yards away from the pond and trees.

2 and 7 have to be redone! Easiest to access and have the space for a temporary green.

Not sure it’s worth the gnats though

Played the Island yesterday (11/25) and it was in prime condition. Easily the best course in the area right now. You can tell they're putting in the work over there. The only thing that would improve that course is a golfers-only ferry service across the river so that a wreck on the intercoastal bridge and mishandling traffic by wbrpso won't add an hour to my drive!

Anyone play TPC Louisiana lately? Will be out there for the Zurich volunteer scramble on Wednesday.

I want to get back there soon. I've only played it once, but really enjoyed it.

played this time last year. Greens were fully over seeded and rolling nicely. Fairways plush. I’d assume it’s about the same now.
