I am trying to be cheap and not pay full price for balls that I will end up losing in the drink, or in the fairway. Do any of you regularly buy refinished or reclaimed golf balls from a particular place?

put me on some game and tell me why. this is my first run with this instead of going to walmart to buy balls.

Is it because they are buffing out scars and scuffs on the balls and it messes them up?

most refinished golf balls are just repainted trash balls.

Also, don't sleep on kirkland golf balls. If you have a membership, they are a solid buy.

Refinished balls will say they are titleist or calloway or something like that but really they are noodles/topflights that have been repainted.

Lostgolfballs.com is the only answer. If you are in LA they will arrive the next day after you order.

I’ve bought 100s from them. Ordered 96 a couple weeks ago to just chip/pitch in my yard

Does no one pick up foundlings?? I’m just playing for fun and I have a sketchy carry. I have a few martyrs in the bag that I’ve found along the way for that

You are better off buying cheap nitros or pinnacles than spending money on refinished golf balls. If you’re losing a ton of balls every round just buy the cheapest ones you can find. If your game is “urethane level” you almost can’t beat the Kirkland or Members Mark balls. The Cut multi-piece balls are also good, and you can often find them on ridiculous clearance at the beginning of golf season.

I bought some refurbished Pro V1's from Academy and they were terrible... Hard is a damn rock.

Pro-v1s are hard in general, if you bought “refinished” or “refurbished” balls they could easily have been range rocks repainted to look like pro-vs.
