But I am talking about the study they did that I’m sure you’re aware of. Where they looked at pros coming to tour straight from q school vs pros that spent at least one full year on Nationwide (or Nike or whatever it was back then). The difference was staggering.

Im aware of it. Guys primes were also in their 30s then too. And they used to say qbs were better if you let them sit for a couple of years. Then we had Mahomes and Allen and Burrow and Herbert. They used to tell us a mid range jumper was better than a 3,etc,etc.

Bond and I disagree on this, and that's OK, I still like him.

But you are the habitual offender of saying shite with no idea what the facts are so I would sit that arguement out. Go play bingo with dorris, it's more your speed

I hear you. And perhaps another study is warranted. I really enjoy KF events and I like having solid talent in them learning how to be a pro. Learning how to schedule travel and handle expenses etc. I think it’s a good system. You disagree and that is fine. I hope Coody wins the first 3 tournies and ends up on tour. If not I’ll enjoy watching him on KF until he wins 3.

I enjoyed watching Suh on KF and look forward to him being on tour next year. Had he gone straight to the tour he likely would have had to depend upon the KF finals and may be back on the KF next year. Instead he has a year under his belt and we get to see him on the big tour.

Again. I hear you. I just think it will be good for Coody to have a year and not face tougher competition than he did in the KF final.

If there is a fix, I guess you could have some sort of ranking for guys that came in late in the year. KF has 5 extra cards next year, I think. Maybe that could be a couple of them.

There are certainly a lot of guys that learning how to be a pro helps, but guys like Coody have essentially been pros since high school. We can agree to disagree on that, there's no reason to continue to relitigate it, but the reality is there's now another league that can go pluck these guys. You know who, I bet, thinks Coody should be in the big leagues? Pierceson Coody. And maybe he's not the guy to go, but the next college star could be.

It's not that dissimilar of an argument than Rickie. Rickie isn't a top 100 golfer in the world right now, but he's a top 20 (maybe 10) player people want to watch. If these guys want to play for $20 MM every week, the entertainment product is important.

fwiw I hope he doesn’t go to LIV. I don’t mind a strong LIV and I think the tour has handled it atrociously. I still want to see these guys cut their teeth on tour. Win something then take the big money if it’s offered and the tour hasn’t changed their ways.

Cam is so much better than Ben Curtis ever was. Curtis was a surprise winner. Cam was expected to win.
