Can somebody fill me in on Phil’s ‘Pelz’ or ‘Hell’s’ wedges he keeps talking about?

Not sure exactly what he’s saying. Is it a loft or distance designation that’s unique for him to this tournament (as compared to his standard lies and lengths? TIA

Dave Pelz is his short game coach. He's probably referring to a specific shot Pelz taught him.

It's like a 75% low spin wedge shot

It’s just what he calls a choke down low trajectory shot that has some grab to it but not the usual bite and spin from a normal shot. I’ve always called it a knockdown shot but since Pelz is his coach on the short game that’s his name for it.
