Finally played it, they are on the slower side but in fantastic shape.

Best kept secret in the city….for now.

Fairways were also pretty good.

They roll pretty good

Only issue is a few are hard as rock. Have to plan to hit in front of green and run up

Not one green was in bad shape.

They were all fantastic.

It’s bullshite Clark park looks like that and Webb is unplayable.

It’s brand new, Clark hasn’t been open long after the remodel.

The secret is getting out. First two times I booked Clark on a weekend I booked the day before and had plenty of options at all times. I tried Thursday to book an early morning tee time for sunday and only had 9:00 available and only for 2 golfers. I don't think it will ever see as much play as santa maria but it's going to get pretty crowded. It's just so good for the value.

They are definitely they best BREC has to offer right now. Only a matter of time before it becomes overplayed. Im hoping it stays quite.

Been in BR since I started LSU in 2002 and I had never played Clark.

The layout combined with Dumas was great, I was shocked how much I enjoyed it.

Best greens BREC has currently.

Boyd has plans to keep in great shape. We chat a good bit about the renovation, potential tournament there like Webb, level of play etc.

BrEC has been overwhelmed by the play it is getting. It is the most in baker in 20 yrs plus. Even the Dumas glory days.

Hopefully they see this is an opportunity to clean up Webb and city park. Become viable options again.

City Park with solid greens, paired with this course maintaining its current form, should lighten the wear on other courses. I’d have to imagine the positive feedback should validate any thought of future investment into a course

I will say this, there area pile of younger to college kids going out there and damaging greens, throwing clubs and what not. Also, using the course as a personal practice facility and not fixing divots etc.

Players have to do their part and not make it more expensive to maintain the course.

It's definitely getting a lot of play. Hopefully it will slack off a bit once Webb gets back and shape and Copper Mill opens back up.

Talked to him last time I was there a couple weeks ago. He said he has to beg BREC to give him more carts so there's not a wait at the first tee for them. Has had multiple occasions where people with booked tee times have no carts available due to the enormous amount of play.

Hopefully whoever is maintaining the course out there knows what he is doing. The greens are in great shape currently. He told me they would likely have to aerate in early August.

Not one green was in so-so shape Sunday.

They were all in phenomenal shape.

It was impressive.

Its not a bad little test from the Blue's out there.

That second par 3 that sits by itself across the street is awesome.

Had to wait on a cart this evening.

The golf director for BREC was there today with some folks taking pictures.
I’m sure they are trying to promote the success of the course a lot. I overheard him say “course is getting a lot of play, even more than city park”. I wish I had stopped and asked if he had putted the greens at city park in the last year…

So much potential with the history of city park and Webb that BREC is too dumb to tap in to

I was there at the same time hitting a bucket. Made sure they didn't take a picture of my ugly a$$.
Started to play but they had a lot of groups going out when I got there.

Make all the greens at Webb as good as Clark, charge $50 a round.

Win.

City Park should have as good of greens as well.
