Myself MJ MD GC played old LSU GC. I think hole 6 at the time? MJ hits it to a foot. MD on my team hits it to 3 feet. GC bunker. I ace it. GC holes out. MD misses MJ makes and we only win the hole.

1. Old number 6 Beauregard C.C. 160yds 6 iron. Money game. Grandfather aced the same hole.
2. Ft. Polk old number 17. Tees were up, 150 yds, 7 iron. Money game.
3. LAuberge in Lake Chuck number 8. 100yds, sand wedge. Friendly game.
Made a long par 3 at Leesville's number 2. Teed off from 157 yds and dead pulled it out of bounds. Drop another ball, 5 iron and rips the front of the hole, and stays in, par.

One of the closest I ever had was at Kiva Dunes.
Was on my spring break in college with a bunch of friends. Someone decided to book Kiva Dunes and was only able to get the first tee time in the morning. We were staying near Floribama so the drive was about 40 minutes. We were up after a long night before the sun even came up to go play a round of golf.
It was hands down the worst round I have ever played. Was tired and hung over as ever. Probably on track for a mid to upper 90s. I get to number 17, don't remember the number, probably a mid iron. I hit the most beautiful baby fade that was tracking right at the pin. By far the best shot of the day, pure clubface. It was tracking so well that it hit the pin right above the cup and ricocheted left into the water. It just epitomized the entire round of golf for me. I wanted to throw my clubs in the water.

#8 at the old Pelican Point Lakes front 9. 123 yds, pw. Ball landed about 3 feet short and right of the pin, and one-hopped in. I was walking the round alone. Fortunately, there was a group of 3 waiting to tee off on #9 and that tee box was only a few feet from the #8 green, so they witnessed my card for me. By the time I followed them into the clubhouse, they had run my tab up over $100.
Also, thought I had one on #8 at city park, but it was the aforementioned kids in the bushes f-ing with golfers.
