Bought one when I got a job at B & R in Houston. Met a girl and she moved in with me. We liked to party and dance, and Houston seemed to be the place to live. Then the owner of the local bar we went to got one of those mechanical bulls and I was gonna be the best bull rider in the joint until this felon was hired to run the bull. Well, he threw me off and I broke my arm, and to make matters worse he started fricking my girlfriend, Sissy. So, she moved out and I started dating this uptown chick whose dad had plenty of money. But it didn't work out and back to Sissy I went.

There was a Dr. that got busted for shooting way too many ducks. He appeared in court and the judge asked why? He pleaded insanity. The judge said what? The Dr. told the judge that when all those ducks came in, he just lost his mind.

When I was stationed in Japan, the movie theatre on base would play music videos before the movie started. Saw a video by Talking Heads and Dire Straits, and this was in 1977/1978, three years before MTV.

Get some Purina One Turkey. My two labs have been on it for over 10 years. Didn't feel like going to walmart and went to tractor supply and all they had was Purina One diet crap. Bought it figured they wouldn't know the difference. They did. They ate it, but not like the Turkey mix.

Hunt public for my entire life except for a year or two got into a cheap lease. I have not shot at a duck this second split. I have only seen a handful of duck's period this second split. The flyway has changed and not for the better. Already starting to pack up my decoys for what may be my last hooray. Just isn't worth the work I have to put into it for so few ducks. Never been on the X but used to have maybe 4/5 days where you did well. The rest of the season would usually be a few here, a few there, but would consistently see ducks, geese migrating. Not anymore. Now that my dogs are nearing the end of their hunting days, it might be the end of mine albeit for an invite here and there. Going to take my talents to the lake, but for fishing, not hunting and I love to duck hunt, brush the blind, put out decoys and the like. Just isn't worth the squeeze for this old geezer. :banghead:

Went fishing last year with a friend who moved back to Ms. a few years ago. I stayed at the Golden Nugget Biloxi and had to drive to Pass Christian to meet him at the ramp. I guarantee I passed over 10 waffle houses on that stretch of Hwy. 90.

Was skiing at Mt. Driskill, and with the low amount of snow most people were cordial except the moonshiner.

How did they know the cougars they shot were one of the cats that killed the woman. Seems trapping and removal would be a better call. I guess it's like they sent out a warning to other cougars in the area. FAFO.
