Golf Channel Buffoons Melting Hard Today LIV Related

Diaz and Eisenhower melting over DJ resigning from PGA Tour today. These bastards have gone from Saudis evil, LIV has no shot and today maybe the Tour will have to re think it’s policy towards LIV.

I have completely lost respect for the “golf media”. The utter one-sidedness in their coverage, articles, and twitter comments on the players involved with LIV has been despicable. I am rooting for LIV hard just to be on the other side of those clowns.
I should have known better. They are all journalists, and for that they are filled with the “holier than thou” condescending attitude while criticizing players who were 1000X better at their profession than these clowns are at theirs.

It's almost as if the company that owns the golf channel owns television rights to the PGA tour and has a vested interest in the PGA tour succeeding

Maybe LIV is behind this? Playing 4d chess? The temper tantrum they’ve been throwing for the past week has made me excited to check out the event.
They were even bitching about the Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers golf thing. “It can’t be entertaining cause they aren’t pros”

100% agree. I've always defended Brandel as a pure golf analyst. But this hoiler-than-thou mantra about blood money is pure BS. He never comments back when others call him out on the Tour sanctioning the players going to Saudi Arabia or the WGC events in China.
All of these guys have skin in the game with the Tour. They don't want competition.

You can root against LIV for a multitude of different reason that are legitimate.
The whole saudi thing is played out and obnoxious. It's selective outrage by a bunch of hypocrites.

I can’t tell you how surprised I am that the media is melting over Saudi Arabia being the main supporter of this tour when… *checks notes* the person who is funding it ordered the murder and dismemberment with a bone saw of a journalist for criticizing him.
Like, it’s fine that people are doing this. They’re allowed to do it. But I don’t have to like where the money’s coming from.
This doesn’t excuse the PGA Tour’s bad decisions, involvement with China, etc. by any means. I just wish it was cleaner money.

This is the same class of people that regularly report that America is an inherently racist society, that "American Exceptionalism" is some myth largely pushed by white nationalists, that women are treated as second class citizens based on wage gap, that rogue gangs of white supremacists are terrorizing black Americans across the nation...and then push a narrative that the Saudi regime is evil and playing in an LIV event is a tacit endorsement of their policies.
It's a fricking golf tournament.
