Played GCHTX this weekend, what a great track. Did a double take in the pro shop when Patrick Reed was behind me in line. Compared to memorial, which I play a decent amount, and did get to play 1 week before the tourney this year, GCHTX is night and day better. The practice facilities alone make it a better venue. What do you think?

The LIV Tournament is next week, PReed must of been putting in work.
Yeah, I like GCOH better than Memorial to play. But watching/walking a tournament, Memorial all day.

Yea. I don’t think many will disagree with you. Memorial is a high traffic muni on some pretty uninspiring land, and I think they’ve done well making it as good as it can be.

They are very different courses, I am guessing most would prefer the GCOH setup. For me at least, Memorial is much cheaper and more convenient and was in pretty prime shape when I played it a few weeks ago. They’ve done a great job with it

It’s still incredible LIV is hosting their event here in June

Yea no doubt that bang for your buck memorial is better. The resident afternoon work 9 holes there is great. . The main thing memorial has is that over seed in the fall and early spring. When it is pure, it has as nice of turf as any where at all.

Layout wise etc the GCHTX smokes it. It was also in premier snap bc of LIV like you are saying.

Lots of Harris Co residents are not eligible to get the reduced green fees because they are not Houston Residents. Paying $150 more or less to play Memorial is ridiculous compared to paying roughly the same amount of money for GCOH.

I love in Sugarland and that's the reason that I played it once and don't care to go back.

I've had a lot of business dealing with the city officials and I have a lot of disdain for Houston city government.

I’m well aware. It’s a municipal course
