Hank Stram was one of my favorites based on personality alone. Not to mention, he lived around the corner in Covington.

His son found them when Hank passes and he donated them to Drew Brees and the Saints Hall if Fame to auction of for charity. Don’t know who bought them but I found the listing for sale on Marketplace(no mention of the backstory), made an iffer and picked them up(stoke them) today.

I would love to but since they have never been hit, figure they may be worth more unhit and pristine. That’s my dilemma. I bought them to play, but after hearing the story and realizing that haven’t been played, I’m not sure I can bring myself to play them.

Man that persimmon is dripping hot sex. I wouldn’t hit them if it was me although it would be extremely tempting

His son is my round the corner neighbor. Nice guy

There are 7 woods. 2 different unhit sets.

Sweet clubs, I remember those woods, very nice.

Still love the feel and the crack of a well hit persimmon wood.

If your looking to resale them and make money, sure don't hit them.

But ask yourself would Toney Penna want me to hit these clubs he made, and the answer is unequivocally yes.

I only paid $200.00 bucks for the 19 clubs and the bag. I am pretty sure I can recoup that plus some.

Let’s just keep matriculating those clubs into more owners hands… I’ll give you $201.

Seriously, this is awesome. I wouldn’t touch them.
