I've played with a group that has 2 times at 9:30. Big Mike pencils them in each week(along with other groups) as many have said. Your only chance to get on early on a weekend is for one of these groups to release the time. There are normally a couple that do, its better to hunt these time a couple days before than a couple weeks before. Additionally, if you just show up around 8 there are always groups that no show. You will get on.

Yeah this is ridiculous bullshite at a public golf course.

I see this is a problem with quite a few what were once country clubs as a barrier to entry for membership. They run membership drives but all the tee times are set till 10am on Saturdays. There should be a premium charge on premium times
