City Park is unplayable currently. I’m gonna head to Clark now whenever I want to go to City.

The greens are completely gone at City Park, you cannot play golf out there.

How can they be so bad?

Why the hell would you put down a brand new cart path and new carts when there are no greens?

That's hilarious. One course with no need for paths at all.

Played Clark Saturday for the 3rd time in a month. It was crowded. Played 18 in about 3:45, which is slower than I'm used to, but given the number of people out there, not terrible. Greens look really nice, but are not fast and do not hold shots very well. But I'm OK with that, as they are leaps and bounds better than City or Webb. Talked to the manager out there, and he said the amount of play they've gotten has been overwhelming. They are trying to get more carts since they run out on a daily basis and have people with tee times waiting on carts. Hopefully they can maintain the conditions with the amount of play they are getting.

It's a shame too. First time I played it I walked a 3:00 tee time. I was nearly dead after 9. That course is NOT designed for walking with all those long stretches between certain holes. I sure hope they can keep the greens up, because the secret's out and the Greater BR area is turning to it over the usual suspects.

I've played clark a few times since they've re-opened. It has to be the best bang for your buck public course near Baton Rouge currently. They did a phenomenal job with the updates. My only gripe is they made a 9 hole course that's hard to walk.

Terrible design in terms of routing.

Nice been saying for years Webb could sell the land across the street for millions and use that to build a par 3 lighted course. You could even have turf everywhere except the tees and greens. That place would make a killing. It’s in a prime spot.

Maybe but the land is surrounded by an unkept drainage ditch, a huge sec 8 tract, and a school that has some of the usual suspects conducting their regular activities after school hours and on the weekends.

We are trying Clark out tomorrow just for the hell of it.

Hope it’s legit.
