4 miles 10:45 run walk pace.
4m @10:12 pace using run walk method.
Think this will be my strategy to get stronger. Much faster and feel better than my 5 m run last week.

Figured I'd start posting here to keep me going.
4 mile easy run. 10:25 pace.
Got a half marathon in May. Not getting my weekly miles in good enough.

re: Has anybody done the Camino de Santiago?

I've done the Portuguese Camino from Porto to Santiago. About 170 miles. It was a very fun walk.
Most peoplewalk and the Camino depicted in The Away the Camino Frances. But there are a dozen or more.

It's time. It's bad.

Have you used the Lome Peak, Timp or Olympus to compare to.
How's the grip. My only ding on Altra is they aren't as grippy on rocky ground than some others are.

I'll get to it. I know it will be a long commitment. C&P is my 2nd Russian literature. I read the Death of Ivan Ilyich and really enjoyed it so started on C&P.

Crime and Punishment now. It's different from what I imagined it would be.
Working on some classics so this will be later this year.

Ride by a diesel shop. Count the logos waiting to be repaired then make a decision.

re: Ram or GMC?

I have a Chevy 2500 with 6.0 gas. Pull 10k trailer regularly. Very happy with the power and truck handles the load very nice. Had a 2002 dodge diesel which had better torque but the Chevy is not far off. Unless I'm pulling much over 10k often I see no need for the diesels.
No experience with the Ram gas engine so this may not be much help.

The people were friendly. Even the Parisians. We don’t speak French but made a minor effort and used a translate app. Even without that though the people were welcoming
I thought this also.
Countryside also very nice. Will go again and see more. Food every where was too notch.
re: What's your top three NEW 1/2ton trucks?
Posted by Nodust on 11/11/25 at 12:37 pm to SouthernInsanity
Since 1990 I've had a GMC, Ford, 2 dodge, and now a Chevy.
The GMC and Chevy have been the best in reliability. Other than one of the dodges which was just a work I've put right at 200k on all of them.
