I was in Dallas over the weekend and Pride is right, Bryson was on a ton of billiards and shite begging people to show up. Also, they were running a BOGO ticket package so you got free tickets if you bought one. People wanted to see the hometown boy so the crowd was better than previous events. To their credit, it was hotter than hell all weekend so kudos to those who trekked out there.

The source is LIV, yes. Same company that said millions were watching on Caffeine, their app, then the streaming service shut down because it was so poorly viewed…..
There are videos and pictures everywhere. Decide for yourself if you think 20,000 people were there Saturday
I would imagine everytime someone bought a ticket they counted it twice since it was BOGO free. So 25k total for the tournament seems about right

You’re such a clown. Mr Covid vax himself talking about misinformation
They never said anything about ticket “purchases”. They had over 20k in ATTENDANCE on Saturday. Just admit how wrong you were. Even the video you posted of the crowd POST-TOURNAMENT was way over 5k, probably close to 10k (you claimed 2500-3500).

I can’t get into LIV in the slightest
I didn’t watch a second of Rocket Mortgage this weekend.
I hardly watched any LIV yesterday bc it seemed obvious that Reed would win, surprised it went to a playoff. Yesterday was a great example of their team concept though. Bryson had no shot at winning the tournament, but his team played really well yesterday. I’m sure the crowd was paying attention to that
It’s fine if people have a different opinion. Talk about how you don’t like it, but don’t post misinformation just to start a false narrative

They said they were getting MILLIONS of viewers for each tournament on caffeine, the service also said it was getting 10s of millions as well, then it had to abruptly shut down mid season last year because it was doing so poorly in reality
It’s nobodies fault but their own people don’t beleive anything put out from LIV communications

Link? There is proof that Caffeine had millions of users. That doesn’t translate to viewers of LIV. The app shut down bc it wasn’t profitable. Has nothing to do with LIV really, not sure why this is your hill to die on about “misinformation”

Caffeine was a live streaming platform for gaming, sports, and entertainment content. It was founded in 2016 and launched in 2018, backed by major investors including 21st Century Fox. Despite raising over $300 million and attracting millions of users, Caffeine ceased operations on June 26, 2024, due to a failure to achieve profitability
In 2023, Caffeine pivoted to focus on live sports and entertainment content. They partnered with LIV Golf for streaming rights and also collaborated with various sports media outlets.
Despite the investments and partnerships, Caffeine struggled to become profitable and ultimately shut down.

That’s probably similar to views on YouTube or impressions on Twitter. Not hard to fathom it popped up on peoples screens.
I get it, you’re just looking for something to be right about since you whiffed so hard on LIV attendance. I’m embarrassed for you

Bottom line: kudos to those who made it out there in spite of the heat. But the reality is they were giving away tickets for nothing, and without Bryson being a dallasite this thing would’ve been poorly attended like most other LIV events outside of Australia. Let me add that had I had time, I may have taken Junior out there to see what it was all about. Just out of curiosity. My friend went and said he had a good time.

You post more about LIV than the people who actually support it.
First it was the OWGR points, then TV ratings, now it's a player losing his temper making it sound like something unique to LIV.
There was literally a scandal in the PGA the last few months with Wyndham Clark raging all over tee markers, lockers, and whatever else.

I literally wasn’t even going to post anything about LIV Dallas, but the guy can’t help himself.
Could’ve easily titled this thread “Koepka loses temper at LIV event”, but he has to make his dig.
Unfortunate for him bc now he looks like an idiot claiming they “dont bring fans” & in actuality they set the record for single day attendance

Should we not talk about it when a liv player does it because it hurts your feelings?

You keep saying this like it is impressive. They have a very low bar.

20k fans in a single day is impressive for any golf tournament.

You’ve spent four-plus years shilling for LIV and fake information put into the public by the Saudis, Greg Norman, Phil Michelson, etc., and you’re criticizing others about “misinformation” and “false narrative(s)?”
You’re the king of LIV-generated false information, which is what the attendance figures are. LIV didn’t hold a competitive golf tournament in Dallas, and it certainly didn’t draw thousands to see the world’s top golfers play in a high-pressure setting. It held a three-day party (probably a fun one), with some golfing built in, and it gave away and discounted lots of tickets to draw people to the party.
But here you are the morning after crowing about “attendance” using LIV generated media. Talk about misinformation and false narratives.
Have a good day.

Anthony Kim had his best finish of his LIV Golf career this weekend. Hope you have a good day as well

PGA Tour > LIV. By a lot. But LIV Dallas is 100% better than the Rocket Mortgage. There is legit nothing interesting about the Rocket Mortgage.

Was a nice story and I agree four day golf with cuts is a much better format.
