if they had pulled someone in like him rather than a complete clown like Norman 3 - 4 years ago, they would have been in a much better position at this point.

This can't be overstated. Choosing Norman and FIGJAM as the faces of the upstart venture was a monumental mistake. The whole LIV effort has been a disorganized, inconsistent, low-rent clown show from the jump.

As you say, there is no viable financial model for LIV as it exists now, but five-plus years into the venture the Saudis have also completely failed to realize their other strategic objectives, which had nothing to do with golf. Leadership matters, and the Saudis chose poorly.
He died nearly two years ago.

More fun than Darth will have remodeling that kitchen.

I did, too.

He was a very good football player. And he, his brother and wife are raking in money with podcasts. I don’t get the appeal of any of the three, but to each their own.

But everything he’s done on ESPN platforms is shite. He’s either added nothing to existing shows they’ve forced him onto or failed with stand-alone shows. No matter where they put him he’s not insightful, informative, funny or clever. He’s just a fat douchebag who grunts, screams and chugs beer. His ESPN contract must be multi-year and ironclad because they keep trying to force fit him into programming.

Too funny.

I met her a couple times in the early 00s, when she was still new at Baylor. Business/professional settings, not social.

The way you described her is perfect. Spot on.

Minus the part of me being a fighter pilot, of course.

Discovered him while scrolling TD’s Music Board last summer.

I think he and his band are terrific.

Watched the video you posted when it first came out and I’ve rewatched it countless times. So cool to see a performer be able to connect with an audience the way he and his band do. And always so cool to see singers and their bands be able to actually play well live.

Me too.

Bo... three-time All-American and first team AA in '72 and '73.

Roy Ebron, Fred Saunders, Larry Fogle, Peyton Townsend, Jerry Bisbano.

Those were good teams and fun times in a packed Blackham Coliseum.

RIP Bo
The LIV league is trash, but one of the positives from its creation is never again having to hear David Feherty and his self-absorbed and forced bombast.
His IQ has to be hovering around 70

I'm good with it, as long as we get him a $10 mil NIL budget.

$4 million of that would end up in Collis' hands.

And he'd DARE anyone to try to get it back. Racism allegations from the Temple clan would be the order of the day.

This x 10.

He's always talked, dressed, and acted the part of a tough guy. Off the field.

It's long past time for Fist Fight to actually play like a tough guy on the field.

Soft

Fist Fight has always been soft. He's the least physical supposed "star" offensive lineman I can remember at LSU.

Jim Fitterling has been running Dow into the ground since he took over in 2017

No argument on this, but Dow's troubles go back further than Fitterling. I worked for Dow for four decades, and on the one hand we made billions of dollars, while on the other hand the corporate brain trust was pissing most of that profit away on ill-advised mergers, product boondoggles and the like (Marion Merril, Texize, Union Carbide to name a few).

I also know from personal experience that Dow's leadership will always blame external "head winds" for the company's woes before ever looking inward.

This. Every bit of this.

Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels and whoever starts for LSU next year.
