I had a helluva time at the Zurich on Thurs and today. It’s amazing how great the tourney is when the weather cooperates. It was also incredible to see the crowd around the green when the final group came in today. First time I’ve seen something like that since pre covid.

This was my first time going and this tournament absolutely delivered. We will be buying tickets for next year as soon as they come out

I stood on the 18th tee box during the playoff and I’m surprised a few people weren’t removed. It was a little rowdy and some highly inebriated individuals over there. Was respectful during play though.
ETA: I saw someone mention talking on the tee box, but I was over there and it was pretty quiet when the guys were actually teeing off. Someone must have been right by a mic.

Must have been my friends. Half of them dont even golf and were out there to drink. You can clearly see them on TV yelling " AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE" and "BABABOOOEY" while they were reading their putts on the final hole and the playoff
But anyways, i went thursday and sunday and it was a freaking blast. The way it finished was the icing on the cake. It was my first time going to a PGA tournament and it definitely lived up to the hype.
Plus, little to my own knowledge, I knew the guy working the Michelob tent on 18 yesterday and was hooked up with free beer all day... talk about having a day

Was standing right behind McDowell for his ace. We walked around and really didn’t follow anyone. Just walked until we saw beer tent. He walked up to his shot on 16 and said “look at this shite” . The hit a beauty over the trees. Walked over with him to 17 and he absolutely flushed that ball. Picked up his tee and said be good without looking. No one could see it go in we just heard the crowd. One of the better tournaments I’ve been to in a while.

So glad it’s nice weather this weekend. Zurich always seemed to be on a rainy weekend in the past.

Hatton and Sepp were in the same group on Sunday. I saw Sepp put on in the drink on 17 and slam his club into his bag lol
