Meh. Chris Evert was no angel. She was a cheater before marrying either of those two. Caused her first divorce.

Yeah ok. Kind of naïve to think all kinds of shite like that doesn’t happen with the rich and famous. Hate to break it to you but even old Arnold Palmer got around.
Par for the course so to speak.

Caddies all over Scotland and England still refer to him as the biggest a-hole in golf…..ever.

How in earth could you possibly know this?

Caddies in England & Scotland aren't the only people that know this.

No kidding. At the 84 PGA (I was there all week) Raymond Floyd was a colossal a-hole. Even his caddie hated his guts. There was an exchange between the two on one of the practice rounds I was standing near the caddie which made that plain.

The only other player there that approached that level was Norman. He was rude to little kids trying to get autographs. He’d flat out walk right over you or anyone in his way.

He choked away a bunch of majors

He also had some absolutely stolen from him due to nothing more than golfers hitting bad shots and getting extremely lucky.

Ha.. this literally happened. Bayhill parking lot ..I'm 30 yards away and see GN walking to his car. I'm just standing there and bam... Greg Norman walks right into me.. Then proceeds to cuss me out for being in his way and .. Just being in his presence. Cars had plenty of room.. But Greg didn't. 5 min later he's in his Rolls flying through the parking lot and yells at more preople that are in his way. That's 1 of 2 encounters I've had. The other was a a few yrs later at a friend's company event and.. same .. rude condescending

No doubt a great golfer but honestly I think he also has staying power because of a phenomenal logo but as careers go he has 1 fewer major than Paddy Harrington and Fewer PGA and Major wins than ray Floyd - and most people can't tell you who Ray Floyd is

That doesn’t surprise me one bit. I saw him knock adults and kids out of his way rather than alter his path one foot

If I remember correctly the year Larry Mize won The Masters he was in a playoff. Mize hit a chip that probably goes in the drink if it didn’t hit the hole. It did and went in.

Sometimes you just get lucky with a miss

PGA - Bob Tway hits two awful shots and ends up in a bunker with an impossible up and down. His bunker shot is easily going 20 ft past the hole before it jars the pin and goes in.

Masters - Larry Mize hits possible the worst iron shot of his career on 11 during the playoff. Misses the green 40 yards to the right. His pitch again is easily going miles past the hole til it jars the pin anc goes in.

Both times Norman had hit solid shots and was in the better position by far until sheer luck stepped in.

Had the talent to win at least 8 majors, but had a hard time performing under a lot of pressure.

$7-800 Million < Billions

As for Norman, 331 weeks as OWGR #1 is very impressive.

Nothing earth shattering but did point out the hypocrisy of the sponsors dropping guys on the LIV tour.

Well now the difference is instead of them being in an investment package, they are now his boss.

I see that quite differently.

I liked Norman in has playing days. Seems like he is more of a prick in his old years. The biggest prick on the tour has to be Curtis Strange. My uncle was the caddie master at Muirfield back in the day. Stranges three wood went missing and he accused my uncle of taking it. Later found it in his rental car and never apologized. Was just a complete a-hole about it.
