What did you want Reed to do in that situation?

You said the spotter told Reed the ball had bounced. You are full of it. She was asked by Reed and she replied NO. What part of NO should Reed or you be struggling with? Why are you continuing to double down on this stupid take?

And he's a known cheater so he should have enough self awresenss to know that there's going to be scrutiny if he interprets the rules himself.

How was he not self aware? So he asked the spotter if it bounced. He asked the caddie. What else should he have done? Even a rules official who didn't see what had happened was tits on a bull in this situation.

Reeds own lawyer from February. I wonder if Reed will sue him next

Rory’s ball clearly looks embedded because in the video you watch in fall right back in the pitch mark made by the ball
In reeds video, you can see the ball bounce and land in a completely different part of the rough. There is no way the ball actually looked embedded to him

Left it until a rules official was there. Not pick it up, at minimum make it unclear if he pushed the dirt down to embed it and then tell the official after he already moved it that it was definitely embedded.
Again, he had just been caught cheating. If the ball is embedded what does he have to hide? Let the official come over, agree its embedded, and then pick it up. They were playing at Torrey which are 6 hour rounds, it's not like he was going anywhere in a hurry

Tell that to Cam Smith.

Cam Smith could have lied when they asked him if the ball was on the line or not, but he didn't. Cam's situation was not understanding or knowing the rule. That's not quite the same.

Reed doesn't have to overcome your conspiracy theories to play pro golf.

And yet my answer had nothing to do with your context. I'm not trying to say Smith should have lied about anything. I'm saying the PGA officials do care enough to get involved. Which Mingo apparently doesn't believe.

Maybe if he didn't have a decade long plus reputation of cheating it just wouldn't be as big of a deal

You will have to deal with that. I made it clear that Patrick Reed did what was asked of him and MORE with the embedded ball. And the PGA officials agreed.

Hell no. They are both turds, Chamblee is just a bigger one. Chamblee was the worst even before LIV and that has just sent him into a different stratosphere of bad. Not sure how he has a job.

If that's a real tweet by Klayman... it's priceless.
It demonstrates how inept Greg Norman is as the public face of the Saudi effort to not undertake the most basic due diligence before signing off on Reed using Klayman.
Klayman is a legal grifter of the highest order. He exists to separate idiots from their money and then he tries to use discovery to attract media attention after he files controversial/spurious lawsuits.
I can easily see Patrick Reed being dumb enough to attach himself to Klayman. And I can see Greg Norman saying "yes" to using Klayman to sue Golf Channel and Chamblee. Norman is committed to destroying the PGA Tour and he'll do anything to generate negative publicity directed toward the Tour at select times - like this week during the BWM. But I'm surprised the Saudis went along with using Klayman, since he's a bottom-of-the-barrel lawyer and they can afford so much better.
