No, I tried graphite shafts for the first time in irons, which may have contributed to my disliking them, but the shaft is what the PXG rep recommended.

don't go by what other people think of clubs because you will hear all different things. I love my PXG clubs. but I also got fitted for them. I was playing Taylormade irons before. now I would never trade my PXG's. but that is my opinion. go in for a fitting and you will know if they are good for you. and like other people have said. their customer service is top notch.

I was told PXG throws in a pair of Ed Hardy jeans and an Affliction golf polo with every set of irons. Just something to consider.
