If you got one day of golf in Cabo would you play Quivira or Cabo del Sol Ocean Course (now the Cove Club)?

Where are you staying? I believe you can only play Quivira if you're staying at one of the Pueblo Bonito properties (unless you want to sit through a timeshare pitch). Regardless, my vote is for Quivira.

Played Quivira last year and Cabo Del Sol Mountain course in 2019. Both are GREAT, Quivira is unbelievable experience and I could only play 1 it would be Quivira. It is a bit funky, has more than few ‘local knowledge’ shots. I was lucky enough to play with a couple from Minnesota that had sold their business and moved down there recently and they knew the target lines on the holes and it helped. No caddies when I played Quivira (COVID). Playing both this November. Enjoy!

I’ve only played Cabo del solo, it’s amazing and played it twice.
Quivira looks fricking bunkers, it’s on my bucket list

Del Sol was closed when we were there a few yrs ago for maintenance (August 2017) so I can’t compare.
But we did make the effort to stay one night at the required resort just to get onto Quivera. It was worth the effort. It’s a Nicklaus course, so you have to be prepared to deal with his shenanigans and realize you won’t be able to post a score the first time you play it.
That said, it’s one of the top 10 memorable courses I’ve ever played and won’t go to Cabo again and not play it. It’s amazing.
