based on what metric? The "brainwashed" number of PGA Tour wins? Brooks has been on record saying he doesn't care about those tournaments outside of majors.
In the years I listed for Rory, both players had zero major wins

Rory made more money(except for 2021), had equal to or more wins, and more points earned that season

He was better than brooks those years

Rory was better 1 season, 2019-2020, when Brooks was injured & only played in 14 events. Brooks was better last season & tbd for this season. It's a long shot for him to catch up to Rory now, but there are still 2 majors up for grabs.

Lol

You think Brooke was better than Rory in 2015?

Rory

European order of merit winner
European tour player of the year
World golf champ
Wells Fargo champ
7th on money list

Brooks
Waste mgmt champ
19th on money list

And 2016

Rory
Fed ex champ
Deustche bank winner
Tour champ winner
4th in money list

Brooks
No wins
23rd on money list

Your desire to be right about everything is exhausting. I was not talking about 2014 or 2015.

4 of the last 5 seasons, Brooks has been better. If he wasn't injured & ended his season early, it probably would have been every year. This season is still TBD since there are 2 majors left to play.

Oh, so “since 2015” isn’t a thing anymore. Scratch 2015 and 2016

You meant “since 2017 but not counting 2022”

Gotcha

So he talks about “since 2015”, and I bring up the 2015 & 2016 seasons, and somehow that’s out of bounds

Ok, y’all are definitely the refined fair and balanced posters here

So all these guys must be better than Jack, since they have won more since they joined the tour?

What's really funny is this is all about prospective. If you are a LIV enthusiast you don't like what Rory said and will look to bash him. If not you understand why he did and said what he did.

To be honest as someone who has never been a fan of any of the golfers to break off into LIV, I don't care much for it at the moment. I watched some of it and it was kinda trash. What went on Sunday in Toronto was much more entertaining. I'm not saying it can't get there but right now it is a league based on over paying players past their prime or on the decline.

Not sure why people hate the PGA so much, but if we are talking about the better product I don't think there is any argument at this point.

To me, the only real surprises were Dustin and Bryson, and I guess Reed. For the rest, it made total sense.

Is he married to a girl who works for the PGA? I think he is.

Damn.
Rory playing the smart way and I'm stuck asking if my wife has a headache or not.
Well played.

PGA of America though, not the Tour.

quote:

You may remember that morning. McIlroy got the time of his tee off slightly wrong, with the four-time Major winner thinking he was off at 12.25pm instead of 11.25am. Because he slept in, he required a police escort to the course, arriving no more than 10 minutes before his match with Keegan Bradley.

What does this have to do with Stoll? Well Stoll, who hails from New York, was working for the PGA at the time and was the PGA employee who helped rescue him from what would have been a hugely embarrassing episode, with the police completing the rest of the job in getting him to the course.
