What would the team names be?
Oh and I was told by the PGA nuthangers that LIV would cease to exist.

proposal featured Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy being given ownership of LIV Golf teams and participating in LIV events. The idea of a global "World Golf Series" was also presented, with a team event that would conclude in Saudi Arabia.

This exec has an idea on what Rory's team name should be

Literally in the exact same document leak, numbnuts:
"In connection with the execution of the Framework Agreement, the Parties hereby agree that the services provided by Greg Norman and Performance54 to LIV will cease upon the management transition to the PGA TOUR contemplated by the Framework Agreement and in any event no later than one month thereafter."
In any event, it sounds like virtually all of this is still in the proposal phase, not implementation or agreed upon.

From what I’ve read those were proposals from LIV prior to the agreement. Don’t think they are happeneing

That just says Norman will be canned and LIV management goes to the PGA Tour which is headed by the Saudi guy

In the basic agreement that was signed on May 30, none of the aforementioned proposals were included, and it still remains unclear if any of them are still being considered.
In the senate hearing today, it was made pretty clear that there is no merger or deal. The 2 parties have simply agreed to work on an agreement & end the legal battle between the two.

Norman canned, the not-for-profit entity and the for-profit umbrella org both ran by Monahan with al Rumayyan in a board seat in the for-profit org with minority shareholdership. What remains of LIV after 2023 folds into the for-profit entity and reports up through Monahan. Aramco likely getting preferential sponsorship for the not-for-profit (e.g., similar to Fedex in the current setup) structure. Get the details right because they matter here.
Norman will get a token $ thank you and be told to kindly exit left. LIV as a functional entity will fold into some sort of rump team international series / silly season event and won't be recognizable at all within eighteen months (and Poulter, Mickelson, et al won't receive jack for their team equity).
And frankly, I'd be mildly surprised if any of this passes the DoJ and FTC review as it is. We will see.

Honestly, the best thing for LIV is probably for this not to go through. I doubt any of the players who turned down the money the first time will do so again, especially with trust in the PGA leadership going to zero.
If it does go through, I agree that LIV will look way different, but I doubt it folds. Most likely there would be a couple of events during the spring/summer and a much bigger emphasis on the fall as you said.

Agree. There would be a mass exodus to LIV since PGA fricked the players that were “loyal”
Also looks like majors will continue to allow them and tough for Ryder Cup to play the holier than thou card.

You understand that something being proposed in past tense, does not mean that is happening, right?
Also, I was told LIV did not want Rory so I’m confused.

The same proposal included an item that Tiger would play 10 LIV events and Yasir would get Augusta membership as part of the deal. Seems legit

I mean the proposal was legit, but it was not agreed to

The proposal was rejected by the PGA…..Hence why PIF came back and the PGA got the better end of the deal, because LIV was the one needing the deal….

You’re seriously demented if you believe this

There is a reason the PIF originally wanted to run the show with their first offerings, to where we are today. They clearly wanted/needed the deal.
From someone else:
LIV/PIF came into negotiations with a merger of equals idea and got shot down.
They wanted Yasir as head of all operations. Not happening.
They wanted Rory and tiger to join LIV. Not happening.
They wanted LIV players automatically allowed back on PGAT. Not happening.
They wanted retroactive WR points for LIV. Not happening.
They wanted LIV as a guaranteed standalone tour going forward. Not happening
They literally didn’t get a single thing they originally wanted. So, who “won”?.

PIF *wanted* a seat at the table in professional golf & they had the money
PGA *needed* the money, hence the deal was made.

A hundred percent correct. Monahan hasn't survived the player's indignation yet. Based on the PGA's testimony today the framework is so flimsy it sounded like a house of cards.
Plenty of chaos to come.
